    • Methods and nodes for coordinating uplink transmissions in a victim cell and in an aggressor cell. The uplink transmissions in the aggressor cell potentially cause interference at a victim radio node receiving or measuring uplink signals transmitted in the victim cell. A coordinating node obtains (200) an indication of an uplink pattern of interference-protected resources in frequency and time where uplink transmissions are allowed to be scheduled in the victim cell but not in the aggressor cell. The coordinating node then signals (202) the indication to an aggressor radio node serving the aggressor cell and/or to the victim radio node. When a radio node receives (204) the signaled indication, it uses (206) the uplink pattern for scheduling uplink transmissions in one or both of the victim cell and the aggressor cell, or for configuring a measurement or signal reception. The coordinating node may be the victim radio node (302), or the aggressor radio node (300), or a network node (304) signalling the indication to one or both of the victim radio node and the aggressor radio node.

    • A method is disclosed for using cell load coupling (CLC) to manage a radio communications network (RCN), comprising cells and radio network nodes associated with the cells. The method comprises determining a CLC characteristic between a first and second of the cells. The determining is based on a cell load contribution that is dependent on a measure of: a signal received by a receiving node of the first cell from a transmitting node of the first cell, a signal received by the receiving node from a transmitting node of the second cell, and traffic between the receiving node and the transmitting node of the first cell. One or more network management functions may be performed on the RCN based on the determined CLC characteristics. The method and/or the functions may be implemented by a computer program, a wireless communications device or a network node.

    • The embodiments herein relate to a method in a positioning node (1005) for handling measurements in a communications network (1000). The positioning node (1005) acquires information about a set of carrier frequencies. The information comprises information about at least a channel number and a bandwidth for each respective carrier frequencies in the set. The positioning node (1005) selects at least one carrier frequency based on the acquired information. The positioning node (1005) sends information about the selected at least one carrier frequency to a network node (101) or a target node (1003). The information further comprises at least a channel number and a bandwidth for the selected carrier frequency, enabling the first node (1001) to perform measurements for a target node (1003) using the selected carrier frequency.

    • According to a particular embodiment, a method in a macro base station of a heterogeneous wireless communication system, includes reducing uplink interference at a radio base station with restricted wireless access. The uplink interference is caused by a user equipment served by the network node, which has a restricted wireless access to the radio base station. The method comprises receiving measurement reports from user equipments served by the network node, and identifying a user equipment causing uplink interference at the radio base station among the user equipments, based on the received measurement reports. The method also comprises obtaining information relating to a total uplink received interference from the radio base station via the identified user equipment, and adjusting a transmit power, a transmission activity, and/or a scheduling of the identified user equipment based on the obtained information, such that the uplink interference caused by the identified user equipment is reduced.

    • Presented is a system and methods for allowing the translation the civic address portion of a positioning message to different languages. The positioning message can be in response to an Emergency-911 call providing much better information regarding the location of the caller associated with the user equipment on a wireless network. The positioning message can contain an indicator of the originating language or a translation of the language from the originating language to the preferred or required language of the destination address. The positioning message can also contain a series of translated messages representing all the languages supported by the wireless network.
