The request includes an instruction to imagine a specific movement or to try to execute the specific movement, wherein the probe (18) is an ECoG electrode with at least twenty individual electrodes (30), and wherein the evaluation unit (24) is configured to provide a plurality of frequency channels for the identification of the desired activity pattern and to evaluate the activity signal based on at least one of the amplitude and the phase in the frequency channels.
