摘要： An audio interface and related use of such interface is provided. The audio interface and its general technique enable a device such as a smartphone, notebook, tablet, computer, or similar processor based device to be more effectively used in audio applications; such as recording, playback, and real time effects.A new and useful process improvement to audio interfaces is described, giving the ability to dynamically condition both analog and digital audio signals as well as dynamically select the direction of audio signals between analog and digital interfaces using switches, knobs, and other control methods.The interface method and concept highlight flexibility in order to serve the broadest collection of use cases, for example, any analog audio signal shall be used in conjunction with any digital device or interface for the purpose of at least one of the following activities: recording, playback, and real time effects. This is unlike other methods which have been designed for more specific purposes and are limited in the number of ways a digital device can be utilized due to one or more of the following characteristics: signal connection options, signal routing options, and signal conditioning options.The interface method describes functional blocks of general signal processing arranged into one or more array(s) of routing switches and process controls; enabling a better overall experience in utilizing analog and digital devices in professional audio applications.

In embodiments, a task is identified as well as a clinician that is near a location associated with the task. In addition to identifying clinicians that are near the location associated with the task, clinicians authorized to complete the task and available to complete the task are identified. If all criteria are met, a clinician may be assigned to the task and notified of the task. Additionally, a task may be reassigned to a different clinician should any of the criteria fail to be satisfied at any point.

摘要： In a tape having separate servo bands of patterns positioned laterally across the tape, the patterns of a separate servo band have at least one differentiating characteristic with respect to patterns of another of the separate servo bands. The differentiating characteristic allows identification of the separate servo bands. For example, the patterns of a separate servo band have differing azimuthal orientations of detectable transitions with respect to another servo band, such as being laterally inverted. In another, variations in the width of gaps of patterns are made with respect to another servo band. 摘要： A method for making magnetic random access memories (MRAM) isolates each and every memory cell in an MRAM array during operation until selected. Some embodiments use series connected diodes for such electrical isolation. Only a selected one of the memory cells will then conduct current between respective ones of the bit and word lines. A better, more uniform distribution of read and data-write data access currents results to all the memory cells. In another embodiment, this improvement is used to increase the number of rows and columns to support a larger data array. In a further embodiment, such improvement is used to increase operating margins and reduce necessary data-write voltages and currents.

摘要： Individual printheads are joined together in a manner to provide improved alignment and registration. The multiple printhead assembly is then installed and removed from the printer as a single unit. According to a preferred method of forming the assembly, individual printheads are temporarily mounted on a holddown plate. The location and position of the printheads is monitored and a fast-cure adhesive used to monolithically join the individual printheads together as a unitary assembly. Once the adhesive is cured, the temporary securing of the individual printheads is removed and the entire assembly removed as a single unit from the holddown plate.

摘要： A thermal ink-jet printhead adapted to emit ink onto a print sheet is automatically adjusted. The printhead is caused to emit ink onto a sheet in a manner consistent with an image of a first density, and then substantially immediately caused to emit ink in the form of a first test pattern on the sheet. The density of the first test pattern on the sheet is measured. The printhead is caused to emit ink onto the sheet in a manner consistent with an image of a second density, and then substantially immediately caused to emit ink in the form of a second test pattern on the sheet. The density of the second test pattern on the sheet is measured. The densities of the first test pattern and the second test pattern are correlated with a function relating a characteristic of an image printed with the printhead to a temperature of the printhead.
