    • In certain implementations, systems and methods for predicting technology vulnerabilities in a network of computer devices are based on software characteristics of processes executing at the computer devices. In one preferred implementation, the system identifies processes at various computing devices within an organization, identifies software characteristics associated with the processes, applies technology controls to the software characteristics, determines risk indexes based on the modified technology control, applies administrative controls to the risk indexes, aggregates the indexes to create risk model, determines alternative risk models, and presents the risk models for consideration and analysis by a user.

    • A rotating throat pulverizing mill has a soft steel vane wheel which rotates with the control bowl for classifying purposes. Wear-resistant vane liners slide onto the vanes to protect the upper surfaces thereof and are held in place, in part, by integral clips which underlie the vane plates and, in part, by wear-resistant cap plates which are welded to a flush upper flange of the vane wheel. Arcuate wear plates are also welded to the exposed surfaces of an air deflector outboard of and above the vane wheel. The vane wheel is preferably constructed in segments. A modified deflector assembly comprises a first portion having a base plate and spaced vertical ribs, which first portion is bolted to a lower deflector, and a box-like, wear-resistant cover assembly which seats on the ribs and is welded to the seat blocks by ways of access holes.

    • A metal substrate, and a method of construction thereof, utilizing an elongated mandrel having a drilled hole in a first end thereof, and a torx recess in the second end thereof. A web of metal substrate material is affixed to the mandrel, the web including a first web of substantially planar metal foil and a second web of corrugated metal foil. The torx recess of the mandrel is indexed into operative engagement with a male drive bit of a winding machine, and the male drive bit is rotated to wrap the web of metal substrate material around the mandrel while the web is fed to the mandrel and while maintaining tension on the web, until a metal substrate of desired size is obtained. Utilizing the headless torx recess mandrel, indexing problems in the prior art are eliminated and the mandrel is capable of withstanding the torque of the drive bit turning in one direction and a reverse force created by foil tension in the opposite direction.
