摘要： Certain embodiments of the present invention are directed to therapeutic intervention in patients with eye-length-related disorders to prevent, ameliorate, or reverse the effects of the eye-length-related disorders. Embodiments of the present invention include methods for early recognition of patients with eye-length-related disorders, therapeutic methods for inhibiting further degradation of vision in patients with eye-length-eye-length-related disorders, reversing, when possible, eye-length-related disorders, and preventing eye-length-related disorders. Additional embodiments of the present invention are directed to particular devices used in therapeutic intervention in patients with eye-length-related disorders.

摘要： In a first aspect, the present invention provides methods for creating video signals including (a) receiving an input video signal including an input red component, an input green component, and an input blue component; (b) determining (i) that a magnitude of the input red component is greater than a magnitude of the input green component and (ii) a differential between the magnitude of the input red component and the magnitude of the input green component; and (c) sending an output video signal including an output red component, an output green component, and an output blue component, where at least one of the following is true: (i) the output red component is decreased by a fractional amount relative to the input red component based on the differential; and/or (ii) the output green component is increased by a fractional amount relative to the input green component based on the differential, and the output blue component is increased by a fractional amount relative to the input blue component based on the differential.

摘要： Camouflage materials that are highly visible to humans but inconspicuous to dichromatic animals are provided. The camouflage materials emit, or simulate emission, of light at or about the neutral point of a dichromatic animal. One kind of camouflage material contains a coloring agent, which limits photopic light emissions from the material to occur at or about the neutral point. Another kind of camouflage material contains at least two coloring agents, which limit photopic light emissions to at least two bands of wavelengths. The respective proportions and spectral properties of these coloring agents are chosen so that the combination of photopic light emitted by camouflage materials incorporating them simulates the appearance of monochromatic light at or about the neutral point.
