    • The present invention provides an active material coating apparatus to form an active material layer having a uniform thickness in a width direction of a substrate when forming the active material layer on a substrate.An active material coating apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a lower die having a groove for supplying an active material of a slurry state and forming a first lip portion of an outlet slot connected to the groove and outputting the active material; an upper die disposed on an upper side of the lower die to face the first lip portion, having a second lip portion of the outlet slot, and having a hinge portion at the rear of the second lip portion according to the outlet direction of the active material; a fixing spacer interposed between the lower die and the upper die at the rear of the hinge portion according to the outlet direction of the active material and determining a fixing gap; a flexible spacer interposed between the first lip portion and the second lip portion on both sides of the width direction of the outlet slot and forming a variable gap; and a controller installed to the upper die and pushing/pulling the second lip portion with respect to the hinge portion to control the variable gap between the first lip portion and the second lip portion.

    • An apparatus detecting the position of the functional layer of the electrode plate includes a first electrode plate sensor disposed at a side of a material to sense start points of electrode plates continuously formed on the material at uniform intervals, a second electrode plate sensor disposed at an other side of the material to sense a length of the electrode plate, a functional layer sensor provided behind the first electrode plate sensor and the second electrode plate sensor above a material traveling direction to sense position and length of the functional layer formed on the electrode by sensing a difference in color, and a controller feeding back a feedback result indicating whether the functional layer is correctly coated through values sensed by the first electrode plate sensor, the second electrode plate sensor, and the functional layer sensor.

    • A coating liquid storage tank and a micro gravure coating device having the same, the coating liquid storage tank including: a supply port to supply a coating liquid; a discharge port provided at a bottom of the storage tank to discharge the coating liquid; and a buffer plate provided above the discharge port to allow foreign substance in the supplied coating liquid to pass to the discharge port and to block waves in the supplied coating liquid from the bottom of the storage tank. In addition, the micro gravure coating device includes the coating liquid storage tank, and a micro gravure roll provided at an upper portion of the coating liquid storage tank and at least partially submerged in the coating liquid. Therefore, it is possible to effectively prevent floating matters from being coated on a substrate.
