摘要： An image forming apparatus having an improved configuration to prevent foreign substances from accumulating on a space maintaining member used to maintain a constant distance between a photoconductor and a developer delivery member. The image forming apparatus includes a photoconductor, a developer delivery member to deliver and feed developer to the photoconductor, a cleaning member to remove the developer and foreign substances remaining on a surface of the photoconductor while coming into contact with the photoconductor, and a space maintaining member arranged to come into contact with the photoconductor so as to maintain a constant developing gap or developing nip between the photoconductor and the developer delivery member. The space maintaining member is located between both ends of the cleaning member.

摘要： An image forming apparatus capable of cleaning contact members by using developer leakage preventing components includes a photosensitive member, a developer feeding member which feeds a developer to supply the developer to the photosensitive member, contact members which keep a development gap or a development nip constant between the photosensitive member and the developer feeding member, and a sealing member which contacts the developer feeding member to prevent the developer from leaking. The sealing member may include cleaning portions which contact the contact members to clean a surface of the contact members. The sealing member may further include a sealing portion for preventing leakage of the developer, and cut portions which section the sealing portion from the cleaning portions. The cleaning portions may extend in a direction different from the sealing portion and contact the contact members.

摘要： A developing apparatus includes an organic photo conductor, an OPC frame part to support the organic photo conductor, a developing roller to develop a latent image formed on the organic photo conductor by supplying a developer, a developing roller frame part to support the developing roller, a developer storing part to store the developer and provided with a supplying opening through which the developer is supplied to the developing roller, a spacer removably interposed between the OPC frame part and the developing roller frame part and spacing the OPC frame part from the developing roller frame part such that the organic photo conductor and the developing roller do not contact each other, a leakage preventer removably attached to and sealing the supplying opening, and a connecting part to connect the spacer with the leakage preventer. Thus, the spacer and the leakage preventer are capable of being removed simultaneously.

摘要： The invention is directed to a method for producing non-oxide semiconductor nanoparticles, the method comprising: (a) subjecting a combination of reaction components to conditions conducive to microbially-mediated formation of non-oxide semiconductor nanoparticles, wherein said combination of reaction components comprises i) anaerobic microbes, ii) a culture medium suitable for sustaining said anaerobic microbes, iii) a metal component comprising at least one type of metal ion, iv) a non-metal component containing at least one non-metal selected from the group consisting of S, Se, Te, and As, and v) one or more electron donors that provide donatable electrons to said anaerobic microbes during consumption of the electron donor by said anaerobic microbes; and (b) isolating said non-oxide semiconductor nanoparticles, which contain at least one of said metal ions and at least one of said non-metals. The invention is also directed to non-oxide semiconductor nanoparticle compositions produced as above and having distinctive properties.

摘要： A process cartridge of an image forming device has a photosensitive body unit including a photosensitive body and a photosensitive body driving part. The photosensitive body driving unit has a photosensitive body gear formed on a photosensitive body shaft. An electrostatic latent image is formed on the photosensitive body. A developing unit includes developing roller developing the electrostatic latent image and a developing driving part. The developing driving part has a developing roller gear formed on a developing roller shaft. A housing integrates the photosensitive body unit and the developing unit into a single module. The developing driving part includes a driving member protruding outside of the housing and transmitting a driving force from the outside. The developing roller of the developing unit may be driven only when necessary, and the process cartridge may be mounted to the image forming device body without requiring a coupling device.
