摘要： A DNA array for detecting a single nucleotide polymorphism of a gene, which comprises, on a solid support, a first probe spots group consisting of one or more probe spots each containing one or more probes hybridizable with a polynucleotide of the gene, in which the probes are exactly complementary to the first polymorphism pattern of the gene, and a second probe spots group consisting of one or more probe spots each containing one or more probes hybridizable with the polynucleotide of the gene, in which the probes are exactly complementary to the second polymorphism pattern of the gene, wherein probe lengths in the probe spots is different from each other. This DNA array enables more exact SNP detection.

The mats can thus be replaced by other proper ones automatically without resorting to manual operation.

摘要： In the treating of waste slags produced in the desulfurization and/or dephosphorization of molten pig iron with alkali carbonates, the alkali is recovered by extracting said waste slags with hot water while feeding carbon dioxide gas to form an extraction solution having a pH of 9.0-11.5 and recovering alkali carbonates from said extraction solution. The extraction solution contains little sulphur and silicates, from which alkali carbonates can be easily recovered with high yield therefrom.

The probe array of the present invention includes a substrate having a plurality of partitioned array regions where many probes are immobilized and a separator attached to the substrate and including partitions partitioning the array regions. The above object can be achieved by attaching the separator including the partitions capable of partitioning instead of forming hydrophobic regions on a surface of the substrate by printing or chemical treatment.

摘要： The hybridization device of the invention aims to attain a hybridization reaction of high reproducibility. A hybridization device 2 for a hybridization reaction of nucleic acid has a cover member 10 that defines a cavity 12, which includes a nucleic acid fixation area 6 of a substrate 4 for fixation of a nucleic acid probe and has capacity for storage of a liquid for the hybridization reaction therein. At least part of an area exposed to inside of the cavity 12 forms a hydrophobic region 18. Adequate control of the surface characteristic of the area exposed to the cavity for implementing the hybridization reaction desirably enhances the signal intensity and reduces a variation in signal intensity, thus attaining the hybridization reaction of high reproducibility.

On that occasion, since the atmosphere supplied through the atmosphere flowing passage is further supplied to the reaction vessel through the communicating port connected to the reaction vessel and the one liquid container portion, the plural liquids contained in the reaction vessel are stirred by the inflow of the atmosphere.
