摘要： A fuel supply device for an engine is provided in which a throttle body is provided with an electrically operated fuel pump, wherein a base member integrally having a base portion that extends in the vertical direction on one side of the throttle body and a housing tube portion that is formed into a bottomed tube shape having an end wall communicating with the base portion is linked integrally to a body, a pump housing case that forms a fuel storage chamber is formed from the housing tube portion and a bottomed tubular housing cover joined to the housing tube portion via a seal member and is disposed beneath the body, and a vapor discharge path for discharging vapor generated in a fuel storage chamber is formed in the base portion so as to extend in the vertical direction and communicate with the fuel storage chamber.

摘要： A solar simulator includes a light source, an optical reflection element positioned behind the light source to reflect light emitted from the light source in a form of pseudo parallel light, a low-angle light-diffusion optical element for diffusing the reflected light from the optical reflection element at a low diffusion angle, and a parallel light conversion optical element including a number of air holes arranged in parallel rows and provided with faculties for transmitting incident light parallel to the axis of the air holes to absorb or attenuate nonparallel incident light. The parallel light conversion optical element converts the incident light from the low-angle light-diffusion optical element to parallel light and emits the converted parallel light.

摘要： It is possible to display a caption with an aspect ratio independent from the aspect ratio of a main video. When a flag indicating that the aspect ratio of the caption is 16:9 is set, the caption video image frame size (720×480) is converted so as to match the aspect ratio of 16:9 and the caption video obtained as the result is superimposed on the main video and displayed. That is, when the main video has an aspect ratio of 4:3, as shown in FIG. 19, reduction in the lateral direction is performed and the main video is displayed with addition of black tone at the right and left but the caption video is displayed with the aspect ratio of 16:9.

摘要： An image information decoding method for decoding compressed image information in an image decoding apparatus, which has been coded via a process including dividing an input image signal into blocks, performing an orthogonal transform on the blocks on a block-by-block basis, and quantizing resultant orthogonal transform coefficients. The decoding process includes performing, in a dequantization unit in the image decoding apparatus, dequantization such that a quantization parameter is weighted by an addition operation that adds the weight by addition, and the dequantization is performed on each chroma and luma component of the quantized coefficients using quantization step sizes, said luma component being weighted by the quantization parameter; and performing, in a transform unit in the image decoding apparatus, an inverse orthogonal transform.
