摘要： In one example, an apparatus and method are provided for summarizing (or selecting a representative subset from) a collection of media objects. A method includes selecting a subset of media objects from a collection of geographically-referenced (e.g., via GPS coordinates) media objects based on a pattern of the media objects within a spatial region. The media objects may further be selected based on (or be biased by) various social aspects, temporal aspects, spatial aspects, or combinations thereof relating to the media objects and/or a user. Another method includes clustering a collection of media objects in a cluster structure having a plurality of subclusters, ranking the media objects of the plurality of subclusters, and selection logic for selecting a subset of the media objects based on the ranking of the media objects.

摘要： A mobile device, system, and method are directed towards enabling a social network member to bootstrap another person's membership to a social network application and to send an invite using an augmented peer to peer distribution mechanism. The member may bootstrap membership by providing information about the invitee. A server may then determine sharable social networking information, to include within the invite, such as personal information about the member, and/or about the invitee. The invite is then automatically modified to make it appear as though it is sent by the member, by spoofing an identifier of the source of the invite. A link or other information associated with a link to the sharable social network application may be automatically included into the invite, where the link is configured to direct the invitee to a configuration of the social network application appropriate for the invitee's mobile device.

A representation of a first person captured in a media object is detected. The media object is analyzed to determine at least one indicator of a relation between the first person and a second person associated with the media object. A relationship between the first person and the second person is predicted based at least on the determined at least one relation indicator. The media object may be monetized in various ways, such as by directing advertisements to persons associated with the media object, and/or to persons having social connections to the persons associated with the media object.
