    • A mobile communication method includes the steps of: transmitting, from a first radio base station (S-eNB) to the mobile station (UE) communicating via a first cell under control of the first radio base station (S-eNB), a handover command instructing to perform handover to a second cell under control of a second radio base station (T-eNB); performing, at the mobile station (UE), handover from the first cell to the second cell in response to the handover command; acquiring, at the mobile station (UE), a global cell ID, which can uniquely identify the second cell in at least one mobile communication system, from the handover command; and notifying, from the mobile station (UE) to the location information management server, the acquired global cell ID which can uniquely identify the second cell.

    • An access gateway device is disclosed that is used in a mobile communication system and that is capable of storing an identifier of a tracking area in which a mobile station in communication is located. The access gateway device includes a table unit storing a table having a corresponding relationships between a tracking area and a base station managing a cell included in the tracking area; a tracking area identifier comparison unit referring to the table at a predetermined timing, detecting the identifier of the tracking area in which the mobile station is located, and comparing the detected identifier of the tracking area with the stored identifier; and a tracking area identifier notification unit notifying the mobile station of the detected identifier of the tracking area when the detected identifier of the tracking area is different from the stored identifier based on a result of the comparison.

The transmission timing decision unit decides a transmission radio frame according to an offset Xk from a transmission timing of a first system information SI-1 and a transmission cycle Tk for other system information k and decides a transmission sub-frame in a decided transmission radio frame according to scheduling information contained in the first system information SI-1. The system information transmission unit transmits other system information k in the decided transmission sub-frame. The offset Xk is defined so as to be different for each transmission cycle Tk.

    • A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes: transmitting, from a mobile station (100) to an access node (200) in a first radio access technology, a connection request signal including a desired call type for communication and a radio access capability of the mobile station (100); determining, at the access node (200) in the first radio access technology, whether or not to perform handover to a second radio access technology on the basis of the desired call type for communication and the radio access capability of the mobile station included in the connection request signal; and transmitting, from the mobile station (100) to an access node in the second radio access technology, a connection request signal, when it is determined that the handover to the second radio access technology is to be performed.
