    • A method for manufacturing jam using Acanthopanax senticosus fruits. Acanthopanax senticosus fruits are mashed, added with sugar, stored in a container, and fermented and ripened. The fermented and ripened Acanthopanax senticosus fruits are heated, added with mineral water, and compressed using a sieve to separate out the seeds and skins, and obtain a flesh extract of the Acanthopanax senticosus. The flesh extract is boiled down while stirring and 5-15 parts of sugar are added. Heat is reduced and salt is added to thoroughly-steam the boiled-down flesh extract. The thoroughly steamed flesh extract is put into a glass jar, boiled in a water bath with the lid of the glass jar tightly sealed, and cooled down to vacuum seal the glass jar. A final ripening process is performed. The jam provides an improved flavor of the Acanthopanax senticosus fruits and helps people to stay healthy due to the useful pharmacological effects of Acanthopanax senticosus fruits.

    • The present invention provides a peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity, a transmembrane carrier comprising the peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity as an effective component, a transmembrane complex consisting of the peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity combined with a target substance, a transfection kit comprising the peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity and the target substance, use of the peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity for the manufacture of a transmembrane complex, use of the transmembrane complex for the manufacture of a medicament, and a method for delivering a target substance into cell interior which comprises administrating to a subject with a transmembrane complex consisting of the peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity combined with a target substance to induce transduction of the transmembrane complex into cell interior. The peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity of the present invention has a prominent penetrating efficiency as compared with the activities of prior TAT-derived peptides and so the peptide has applications on intracellular delivery in various research fields as well as on therapeutics of specific diseases where targeting of drugs is required at high efficiency. Accordingly, the peptide having cell membrane penetrating activity, the transmembrane complex consisting of the peptide combined with a target substance and the method for delivering a target substance into cell interior using the transmembrane complex of the present invention are very useful as drug delivery systems.

    • Provided are an audio encoding method and apparatus capable of fast bit rate control. The audio encoding method includes: converting audio sampling data into frequency domain data; adjusting a scalefactor value in each predetermined frequency band based on an available bits and allowed distortion of a psychoacoustic model to allocate a number of necessary bits to the frequency domain data and quantize the frequency domain data; and generating a bit stream based on the quantized data. The quantizing of the frequency domain data includes: obtaining the available bits for the frequency domain data; obtaining the common scalefactor value satisfying that the used bits is not larger than the available bits, using a difference the available bits and the used bits to quantize the audio data; calculating quantization noise in the each predetermined quantization band; and adjusting a scalefactor value of a quantization band in which the quantization noise exceeds the allowed distortion of the psychoacoustic model to quantize the audio data.
