摘要： A selection item display device allows the user to select a desired selection item in the case where a surrounding situation changes, with improved operability. The device includes: storage element for storing a selection item; retrieval element for retrieving a selection item to be displayed based on a surrounding situation from the storage element; generation element for generating an image of the retrieved selection item; display element for displaying the generated image of the selection item on a display screen; designation element for designating a selection item to be maintained from the displayed selection item; and holding element for holding the designated selection item. Even if the surrounding situation changes, and the retrieval element changes the selection item to be displayed, the generation element leaves the image of the selection item to be maintained on the basis of an instruction from the holding element on the display screen.

The CPU 290 determines, when a period T is over, whether access to the contents has been carried out or not, and adds additional time D to the remaining time when the CPU 290 determines that the access has been made, and subtracts the period T from the remaining time when the CPU 290 determines that the access has not been made. The CPU 290 executes the afore-mentioned processing once in each period T, and automatically deletes the contents from the HDD 270 when the CPU 290 recognizes that the remaining time is zero or below.

摘要： A fixing structure of a flat cable connecting portion in a rotary connector, wherein the connecting portion is provided on each end of a flat cable which is comprised of a plurality of conductors arranged in parallel and insulator-covered and which is housed in the form of a coil in a circular space formed by a pair of cases which are installed so that they are allowed to rotate against each other, at least one connecting portion of said flat cable being attached to the connection housing provided on the case and the connecting portion being fixed to the connection housing by a fixing component mounted on the case. The connecting portion of the flat cable is provided with an engaging section which engages with the connection housing, and the fixing component consists of integral parts of a tongue piece, which is inserted in a gap provided in the case or connecting portion, locking hooks engaged with the case, and the reversion checking component which acts as a check on the flat cable's reversing in the vicinity of the connecting portion of the flat cable.
