    • A display panel is expandable without increasing the size and without reducing the sealing function including the waterproof function while the display panel is prevented from deforming due to a strong sealing force. A housing includes first and second housing members. The former includes a wall surrounding a display-panel-holding-space to hold a display panel being a holding target. The latter closes an opening of the display-panel-holding-space whose opening edge is an end face of the wall by engaging the end face of the wall. A space around the opening of the display-panel-holding-space is formed in a border region including a contacting part or a connecting part of the wall and the second housing member. An elastic member is arranged in the space. An edge part of the display panel is arranged closer to an edge face opposite side to the end face of the wall than the elastic member.

    • In integrally forming a positioning convexity on an inner surface of a case, breakage during a fall and the like is prevented by increasing the strength of the positioning convexity without causing a defective appearance during the molding of the case. In performing the positioning of a top cover and a built-in frame by fitting together a positioning concavity formed in the built-in frame and a positioning convexity which is integrally formed on an inner surface of the top cover, the positioning convexity is formed from a rib in the shape of a box or the like. To lessen stress concentration, the positioning convexity is disposed in the vicinity of a screw fixing section. To improve assemblability, a curved surface or an inclined surface which guides the fitting into the positioning concavity is formed at a leading end of the rib which constitutes the positioning convexity.

    • An electronic apparatus with a detachable cover is proved. The present invention is possible to maintain a satisfactory outward appearance when the cover is attached to the apparatus, and to improve the structural body of the apparatus in terms of strength and formability without having to diminish the inner space for built-in mounting components. According to the present invention, an electronic apparatus having a cover which is attached to an outside of a structural body and at least a peripheral edge portion of which is bent inwards, is characterized in that the cover has a plurality of ribs each of which has a first portion protruding from a predetermined region including a part of a crease on an inner side and crossing the crease as seen from the inner side of the cover, and a second portion crossing the first portion, with the first portion and the second portion being integrated with each other, and the structural body has a plurality of holes being fit-engaged with the ribs at positions corresponding to the plurality of ribs.
