    • Disclosed is a thermosetting resin composition of excellent low-temperature curability comprising an oxetane compound and also disclosed is a cured article obtained therefrom. The thermosetting resin composition comprises an oxetane compound (A) containing two or more oxetane functional groups in the molecule represented by the following general formula (1) and a heteropolyacid (B) as essential components. A cured article obtained by heat curing of this composition shows excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties, adhesive properties, resistance to heat, moisture, and chemicals, and the like. In formula (1), R1 is a hydrogen atom, alkyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, fluorine atom, fluoroalkyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, allyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group, furyl group, or thienyl group.

    • The invention relates to a cable connector including a housing having a die-cast base substantially extending between a front side and a rear side of the connector. The connector further includes a die-cast first housing part mounted to the die-cast base such that the die-cast first housing part and a first portion of the die-cast base determine a first cable connector portion at the rear side. The cable connector further includes a metal sheet formed second housing part mounted to the die-cast base such that the metal sheet formed second housing part and a second portion of the die-cast base determine a second cable connector portion at the front side. The cable connector is suited as a high density I/O cable connector. The invention further relates to a method of assembling a cable to such a cable connector and a metal sheet formed housing part.

The bending mandrel (29) of this combination has a bending face (35) and the anvil (15) of this combination has a curved bending face (18). The outward facing bending face (18) of the bending anvil and the bending face (35) of the mandrel complement each other in shape and interact to bend the connection pins (9) of the connector into a generally L-shaped configuration.

    • An electrical connector with plug contact elements of plate material is disclosed. The electrical connector comprises a housing of electrically insulating material, provided with at least one contact element of electrically conducting material designed as a plug contact. The plug contact is made up of two substantially oppositely spaced elongated plate parts. An end of each plate part is fixedly connected to a base part of the connector, while free ends of the plate parts are in physical contact. The contact element may be secured in a channel of the housing by a lip-shaped member fixedly joined in a resilient manner to the base part. The contact element is provided with a terminal end adapted for electrically interfacing with other electrical components. A method of making the contact element as a whole by a single punching process from a sheet of electrically conducting material is also disclosed.

    • A card connector according to the current invention provides a substantially low profile when it is placed on the board. Stoppers and solder tails are situated at the bottom of the housing of the card connector and extend in the perpendicular direction with respect to the housing. In one embodiment, the connector housing is inserted into a mount opening of a circuit board from a rear side of the circuit board. A portion of the housing may be positioned above the front surface of the circuit board while stoppers and solder tails are positioned on the rear surface of the circuit board. Since the solder tails are soldered to the circuit board, it is possible to reduce the height of the connector housing that extends over the front surface of the circuit board.
