In one embodiment, software is disclosed that enables and operator to implement a fantasy sports league having a plurality of fantasy owners. Individual ones of the fantasy owners are enabled with the ability to activate one or more fantasy players from their team for a subset of a given contest. Accordingly, fantasy points are accrued that add and display each fantasy owner's points that have been accrued in a scoring period to track competitive rankings within the given fantasy league. The overall system may allocate computing resources using a content management system in order to optimize the operation of the fantasy league and provide for improved user experience.

摘要： A system for handling address resolution protocol (ARP) messages has a plurality of communication modules for communicating via a network. Each such communication module has a separate link layer address (e.g., MAC address). Control logic in communication with each of the modules serves as an ARP proxy for the modules. Rather than using its own link layer address in the overhead of the ARP messages, the control logic uses the link layer addresses of the communication modules, thereby causing the network to learn these link layer addresses during ARP processing. Therefore, once ARP messaging between a communication module and a remote network device has been performed, the network has established a data path between the communication module and the remote network device, thereby helping to prevent or reduce message flooding when the two devices begin to communicate.

According to one embodiment, input channels from an image are derived and analyzed by heuristic metrics to create categorical estimates. Examples of categorical estimates include a foreground channel estimate and a background channel estimate. Once created, the categorical estimates are merged to create a final channel estimate. The final channel estimate may represent the foreground or background of an image. Optionally, noise removal will also be conducted to improve the segmentation.
