    • A system provides for controlled collaboration among a plurality of users. The method as illustrated is comprised of a plurality of computing appliances, each having a display apparatus and an input apparatus. A presentation is displayed on at least two of the display apparatus. User data is provided having an associated presentation responsive to user input via the input apparatus by a user associated with the computing appliances. User data is stored in a non-transient memory as associatively mapped to the computing appliance providing the user input. A collaborative presentation is generated comprised of the display presentation and the associated presentations for a least some of the input data in the memory that is associatively mapped to at least two of the computing appliances. The collaborative presentation is displayed on the display apparatus of at least one of the computing appliances.

    • A system provides for collaboration among a plurality of users, each user at one of a plurality of computing appliances. Each computing appliance comprised of a display apparatus providing a display presentation. The system is comprised of a memory providing storage structured as a plurality of areas of memory, each associated with one said computing appliance; a source of user data having an associated image, provided responsive to user input at said computing appliance that is associated with said user providing the user input, and display logic generating comprising a combined display presentation as the display presentation provided on the display apparatus of at least one said computing appliance. The memory provides storage of the user data in the area of memory that is associated with said computing appliance that is associated with said user providing the user input. The combined display presentation is generated responsive to at least some of the user data stored in a selected plurality of areas of memory associated with at least two of the computing appliances. The source of user data is provided via at least one of a physical keyboard, virtual keyboard, a touch screen, mouse gestures, camera gesture recognition, voice recognition, scanning an item, from a social network, from selected threads of messaging, in a data file selected by the user input; a link to the user data; an associative mapping to the user data contained in a data file; import from a file, and network data transfer.

    • A system and methodology for collaboration. A plurality of computing appliances, each respective one of the plurality of computing appliances having a display apparatus and having a user input apparatus to provide respective annotation data as input for the respective user to permit the respective user to provide annotations which appear within a display presentation as an image for viewing and representative of the annotations. A first subset of the plurality of computing appliances is comprised of at least two of the computing appliances that form members of a group. Separate selective communication of the annotation data is provided among the members of the group. There is selective display of the annotation data to selected ones of the members of the group. The annotation data is selectively coupled for distribution to other ones of the plurality of computing appliances in the group for selective viewing at certain other ones of the plurality of computing appliances.Selection logic permits at least one of the users' to selectively choose which of the other users within the group are selected ones that are to have their corresponding annotations viewed as part of the display presentation for the at least one of the users.In one embodiment, a plurality of separate screen display presentations are provided in a split-screen combined presentation to each of the respective users at each said respective computing appliances. Coordinator logic selects which of the users' annotations are utilized in generated each of the display presentation for each of the respective users.

Display presentation apparatus provides a first display presentation to each of the computing appliances on the same said team, comprising a display presentation responsive to the respective first level, and provides a second display presentation to each of the computing appliances on a same sub-team, for a respective one of the second set of levels that is associated with the respective computing appliances. Communications apparatus provides audio communications among all the computing appliances that are associated with the same respective said level. In an alternate embodiment, a separate communications channel is associated with each said level and provides a separate level of audio communications among the respective computing appliances associated with a respective one of said levels.

The user input apparatus and the display apparatus can be integrated into a touch-screen input display. The present invention also relates to a method for providing for video display of music responsive to the music data stored in a music database. The method is comprised of defining a page of music image data from the music database; defining ordered logical sections; storing the mapping in a memory for selective retrieval; and providing for the video display of the music responsive to the mapping and the storing.
