    • Provided is a predistorter which compensates for a memory effect occurring in an amplifier used in a communication device, especially an electric memory effect as well. The predistorter includes: a distortion compensation circuit (8) for compensating for a nonlinear distortion caused by an amplifier (3), in which the distortion compensation circuit outputs a predistortion signal to be input to the amplifier. The predistorter includes: first filter section (21) which is connected between the distortion compensation circuit and the amplifier, for compensating for a frequency characteristic appearing in a signal component occurring in an entire analog circuit including the amplifier; and second filter section (22) which is connected between the distortion compensation circuit and the first filter section or between the first filter section and the amplifier, for compensating for a frequency characteristic appearing in a distortion component occurring in the amplifier.

    • In a remote control toy (1) including a radio unit (2) and a drive unit (3) which is remotely controlled based on a control signal from the radio unit (2), the radio unit (2) detects transmission situations of control signals from other radio units (2), and selects one unused identification code based on detection results. Moreover, the radio unit (2) generates a code notification signal to instruct setting of the selected identification code to the drive unit (3), and transmits the generated code notification signal. In the drive unit (3), the code notification signal is received, the selected identification code is discriminated based on the received code notification signal, and the discriminated identification code is set as the own identification code.

    • A remote-control toy is provided that includes: a controller (2) that transmits a control signal according to an operation by a user; a movable body that is controlled to drive based on the control signal from the controller; and a field in which the movable body can move. The movable body includes a detecting unit that reacts to a predetermined object to be detected and outputs a detection signal, and a processing unit that performs predetermined processing in response to the output of the detection signal.     • A remote control system is provided that prevents a combination of a transmitter and a movable machine other than a combination determined in the system from being established, ensures fair fighting games, and is capable of easily discriminating a movable machine and a transmitter combined in the system even when combinations cannot be discriminated visibly. A transmitter 2 reads characteristic information 10 from a recording medium 3 having the characteristic information associated with a movable machine 1 recorded thereon, and transmits the information to the movable machine 1 as initial data. If the received characteristic information coincides with characteristic information 16 the movable machine has, then the movable machine 1 comes in a state to ready to operate. Even if movable data destined to the movable machine 1 itself is transmitted, however, the movable machine 1 is not activated until the initial data containing the characteristic information 16 is received. The above described problem is solved by such a remote control system.
