摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate and a color filter substrate, a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines formed on the array substrate such that the gate lines and the data lines intersect each other to define a plurality of pixel regions, a plurality of thin film transistors formed at respective intersections of the gate lines and the data lines, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the array and color filter substrates, and a plurality of repair patterns formed on the first substrate. Each of the plurality of the repair patterns crosses a corresponding one of the data lines, and is along and adjacent to a corresponding one of the gate lines, such that the repair pattern includes protruding ends that protrude from the corresponding data line to repair a defect on the pixel regions.

摘要： An image forming apparatus, a host client, an image forming system and a managing method thereof are provided. The managing method of an image forming system which includes an image forming apparatus, and a host client which is connected to the image forming apparatus, includes determining whether a predetermined event of the image forming apparatus happens or not, informing at least one host client whether to perform an uninstalling of a printer driver which corresponds to the image forming apparatus or not if the predetermined event happens, selecting the uninstalling of the printer driver depending on the informing, and deleting the printer driver of the host client depending on the selecting. Thus, the present general inventive concept provides an image forming apparatus, a host client, an image forming system and a managing method thereof efficiently managing a control program corresponding to the image forming apparatus.

摘要： A composite medium and method thereof for simultaneous removal of cationic and anionic heavy metals are provided to remove cationic and anionic heavy metals effectively. The method includes dissolving sodium alginate powder into deionized water to provide an alginate solution, and introducing amine group-supported mesoporous iron oxide and synthetic zeolite into the alginate solution and kneading the resultant mixture. The method also includes adding the alginate solution mixed with the mesoporous iron oxide and synthetic zeolite dropwise to an aqueous calcium chloride solution so that each drop of alginate solution is cured to form a bead-like composite medium, and vacuum drying the bead-like composite medium to remove water present in the composite medium, while the mesoporous iron oxide and synthetic zeolite are moved from the inside of the composite medium toward the surface of the composite medium.

A document management method of an image forming apparatus which includes an image scanner to scan a document and generate a scanned image, the method includes generating the scanned image by scanning a document including a bar code, determining whether to perform an optical character recognition (OCR) on the scanned image by using bar code information of the generated scanned image, extracting character information of the document by performing the OCR with respect to the scanned image according to the determination result, and setting a file name by using at least one of the bar code information and the extracted character information and storing the scanned image. The apparatus and method set a file name of a scanned document to identify the document without an additional input.

The digital broadcast receiving system includes a baseband processor, a management processor, and a presentation processor. The baseband processor receives a broadcast signal including mobile service data and main service data. Herein, the mobile service data configure a Reed-Solomon (RS) frame, and the RS frame includes mobile service data and at least one channel configuration information on the mobile service data. The management processor acquires simple guide information on at least one of a current program and a next program of a corresponding channel from the channel configuration information and stores the acquired simple guide information. The presentation processor receives simple guide information of any one of the current program and the next program, wherein the programs are provided as mobile service through a user-selected channel, from the management processor and displays the received simple guide information on a portion of a display screen of the corresponding channel.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for wastewater treatment using a nitrogen/phosphorus removal process combined with a floatation separation of sludge that is replaced by the gravity settling secondary clarifier are provided for effectively removing organic substances, nitrogen, phosphorus, granular substances and the like from wastewater. Al or Fe electrode plate is used for generating the micro bubbles so that phosphorus is removed by Al or Fe ions dissolved from the anode. With the method and the apparatus, a concentration of the microorganisms in the bioreactor is maintained high so that the volume and area of the reactor are reduced, that removal efficiency for organic substances, nitrogen, phosphorus is increased, that deterioration of settlability due to sludge bulking or micro floc and deterioration of out-flowing water quality are prevented, that the time required for settling is reduced to increase the processing quantity of wastewater, and that removal efficiency for phosphorus is maximized by simultaneous performances of biological phosphorus removal and chemical phosphorus removal by chemical agglomeration in the solid-liquid floatation separation vessel.
