摘要： According to an embodiment, the invention is directed to an optical disc having signal tracks including a groove track, in which wobble signals are recorded on at least the groove track. Wobble units of wobble signals are modulated on the groove track, while at least 4 wobble units are used to represent a data bit of “0” or “1” in address information. Data bit of “0” or “1” in address information has a same phase and different phase with regard to alternate data bit at least to distinguish from each other.

The recording medium including an inner area, a data area, and an outer area includes a first test area contained in the inner area, and a second test area contained in the outer area, wherein the first and second test areas are formed by a predetermined wobble modulation method equal to that of the data area. Therefore, the recording medium can be applied to a method for manufacturing a Blu-ray disc, and data can be effectively recorded/reproduced in/from the recording medium, such as the Blu-ray disc.

In the present method, when main content data is recorded in encrypted manner, CPI that is necessary to decrypt the encrypted main content data is written in a predetermined PIC area and is also copied at least once in an area other than the PIC area.
