摘要： Provided is a navigation device which can automatically display on a map screen, an icon of a facility, information of which is not held in the navigation device. According to the navigation device (2), when it is judged that content information received from a roadside radio device (1) contains “object facility coordinate information” and “icon image information”, these information are written into a facility information table (252). When displaying a map screen and an existing facility icon on a display unit (22), it is judged whether the facility information table (252) contains facility icon information having coordinate information contained within a range indicated by the map screen. If YES, the corresponding facility icon is overlay-displayed on the map screen and the existing facility icon.

摘要： First and second roadside apparatuses for short-range communication with a vehicle-mounted device mounted in a vehicle are disposed upstream and downstream of a one-way road. The first and second roadside apparatuses installed on the road acquire vehicle identification information for identifying the vehicle when the vehicle passes through the communicative areas thereof. A administration device capable of communicating with the first and second roadside apparatuses stores the vehicle identification information acquired by the first roadside apparatus in a storage unit. If the vehicle identification information acquired by the second roadside apparatus is not included in the vehicle identification information stored in the storage unit, the administration device provides the vehicle with a reverse-way driving warning information through the second roadside apparatus. Thus, the road-vehicle communication system for warning a vehicle being driven or fully expected to be driven in the reverse-way on a one-way road such as a toll road against the reverse-way driving.

A second roadside apparatus for acquiring the given entry gate pass information is provided at an exit ramp of the toll road. The second roadside apparatus having a function as an administration device judges whether or not the entry gate pass information is acquired from the passing vehicle. If the entry gate pass information is not acquired, the second roadside apparatus provides the vehicle with reverse-way driving warning information for warning the vehicle that the vehicle is traveling in the reverse direction. Thus, if there is a vehicle which is fully expected to travel in the reverse direction on a one-way road such as a toll road, a road-vehicle communication system for warning or giving caution to the vehicle traveling in the reverse way and vehicles traveling along the correct lanes.
