摘要： A battery distribution unit includes a housing having a bottom mounted to a battery case of a battery module and having a component cavity with a contactor therein. The contactor has fixed contacts having terminating ends extending from a bottom end of a contactor housing. The BDU includes terminals at the bottom end of the contactor coupled to the terminating ends and a heat exchanger cap at the bottom end of the contactor. The heat exchanger cap is provided in the component cavity in thermal communication with the fixed contacts and in thermal communication with the battery case of the battery module to dissipate heat from the fixed contacts into the battery case of the battery module.

摘要： A connector assembly having a connector housing with a terminal receiving area. The terminal receiving area is spaced from outside walls of the connector housing and has a secondary lock receiving recess and terminal receiving cavities. A secondary lock member is slidably received in the secondary lock receiving recess for movement between a first position and a second position. The secondary lock member cooperates with terminals positioned in the terminal receiving cavities when the secondary lock member is in the second position. The secondary lock member has a resilient positioning member extending from a first wall of the secondary lock member in a direction away from the terminal receiving area. The resilient positioning member is configured to engage a mating component and compress when the mating component is inserted into the connector housing.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a housing having an upper wall and a first protrusion and a CPA element slidably coupled to the housing along the upper wall between an extended position and an inserted position. The CPA element includes a base and a first beam extending from the base having a first arm and a first finger including an abutment wall configured to abut against the first protrusion and a tip configured to be engaged by a mating connector when received in the housing. The tip is deflected from a blocked position to a released position with the distal end engaging the protrusion in the blocked position and the tip being deflected outside of the protrusion to the released position where the tip is able to clear past the protrusion to allow the CPA element to be moved from the extended position to the inserted position. The CPA may be configured so that in the extended position it is to block release of a pivotal latch used to retain the connector to a mating connector.

摘要： A connector assembly having a cover assembly housing a first electrical component and a second electrical component. The cover assembly includes a mating connector receiving recess, a first component receiving recess and a second component receiving recess. A separating wall mechanically and electrically separates the first component receiving recess from the second component receiving recess. Latches are positioned in the first and second component receiving recess proximate the mating connector receiving recess. The latches cooperate with the electrical components to maintain the electrical component in the component receiving recesses. A seal is provided about an inside perimeter of the mating connector receiving recess. Bus bars electrically connect the first electrical component to the second electrical component. Wherein when the cover assembly is mated to the mating connector, a sealed compartment is provided that protects the first electrical components and the second electrical components from the environment.

The guards have guard side walls with side wall openings which extend therethrough. Top walls of the guards extend from the guard side walls. The top walls extend over at least a portion of the heat dissipating openings. The heat dissipating openings and the side wall openings allow for heat generated inside the wire dress cover to be dissipated to the outside of the wire dress cover, while the top walls of the guards deter material from entering the inside of the wire dress cover.

摘要： A connector for terminating to a battery terminal post. The connector includes a post-engaging portion which has an opening for receiving the battery terminal post therein. The post-engaging portion is movable between an open position and a secured position. A retention insert is provided in the opening of the post-engaging portion. The insert has resiliently deformable projections which extend into the opening. With the battery terminal post inserted into the opening and the post-engaging portion moved to the secured position, the resiliently deformable projections of the insert engage and retain the battery terminal post in the opening to prevent unwanted movement of the connector relative to the battery terminal post.
