    • A source code of a program is used to identify a first portion of the program that is predicted as being written by a first developer wherein a remaining portion of the program is written by a second developer. The program includes a plurality of program elements. Style information is extracted from each of the program elements. The style information is analyzed to identify a first set of program elements which have a first style corresponding to the first developer, wherein the first style differs from a second style corresponding to the second developer and used by a second set of program elements comprising remaining program elements of the plurality of program elements, and wherein the style information identifies a pattern indicative of how one or more non-syntactic characters have been inserted among syntactic program elements of the plurality of program elements.

    • A transformation rule generation supporting apparatus is configured to support generation of a transformation rule for transforming a transformation-source structured document having a hierarchical structure based on physical disposition of data in the document into a transformation-target structured document having a hierarchical structure based on a logical structure of data content. The apparatus includes a user interface configured to generate, display, and edit graphical representation of the transformation rule; and a restoration unit configured to determine a transformation rule in text form from the graphical representation, wherein, for the one-to-many transformation rule, the restoration unit restores the reduced rule by determining, according to an output sort order, the output order in which each of the output elements represented by the plurality of nodes is output for the input element represented by the one node.

    • To provide a system which allows large volumes of data to be exchanged efficiently through network connections using portable terminals. An example data communications system includes a data terminal which stores certain data; and an operation terminal which controls access rights to the data stored in the data terminal, in which the operation terminal grants another operation terminal access rights to desired data. The data terminal returns the data according to an access request made based on the access rights. On the other hand, the operation terminal passes the acquired access rights to the data terminal, which then accesses the data terminal via a high-speed, stable, wired network and acquires the desired data, based on the access rights.
