摘要： An example solar structure is disclosed for providing shade to a roof of a building having a building support structure. The solar structure may comprise: a plurality of vertical supports; a plurality of connecting beams; and a plurality of solar panels, wherein the plurality of vertical supports couple the load of the solar structure directly to the building support structure. Example methods are disclosed for keeping rooftop equipment cooler and operating more efficiently and longer, for specifying smaller AC units, for extending the life of a roof, for reducing the heat entering a building from sunshine, for reducing the heat re-radiated from solar panels onto a roof, and for specifying smaller structural roof support beams. An example solar structure comprises a movable portion configured to move from a first position to a second position to allow rooftop equipment to be lifted off the roof through the solar structure.

These systems comprise structures capable of supporting solar panel at heights greater than 18 feet above their mounting surface. These systems may be installed in confined spaces. These systems also comprise structures that are customizable, allowing an installation to be configured with a desired lighting and environmental effect. The methods discussed herein describe processes for achieving desired design effects based on natural elements. Moreover, the methods discussed herein describe processes for reducing the costs of generating solar energy and/or reducing the costs of providing a solar structure.

The camera system is intended to allow users to instantly view and share recorded images with others without any processing requirements. Users may view and share a recorded image anywhere and without any additional devices such as televisions or computers, and users may personalize items such as key chains, charms and other gift items. The camera system has two components: an imaging unit for capturing images and a viewing device. The imaging unit contains an imager that converts light into electrical signals, and an electrical connector. The viewing device, removable from the imaging unit, contains: an electrical connector that couples to the electrical connector on the imaging unit and carries electrical signals from the imaging unit, a memory that stores an image from the imaging unit, a display for viewing an image stored in the memory, and a processing unit that controls the imager and the viewing device. The viewing device does not contain an imager for capturing images, while the imaging unit does not include one or more or all of a memory for storing image information, a display for viewing an image, a processing unit for controlling the imager and the viewing device, or a power supply.

摘要： A shaped diaphragm as a part of a fluid processing disposable set acting as a centrifuge system rotor. The fluid processing disposable set has a variable-volume chamber and a fluid port. The shaped diaphragm defines a wall of the variable-volume chamber. The chamber is in fluid communication with the fluid port and is defined by a fixed wall and an elastic wall. The elastic wall is formed by the shaped diaphragm. The disposable set may also have a rotary seal coupled to the fluid port and fluidly coupled to the variable-volume chamber. The shaped diaphragm may be convoluted. The convolution may be a single fold and may have a plurality of folds located symmetrically about an axis. The shaped diaphragm may, alternatively, be essentially planar in an unstretched position while varying in thickness along a diaphragm dimension. Centrifuge rotors, systems, and methods for selective harvest of fluid constituents from a whole fluid are detailed.
