摘要： The sealing element of the waterproof connector has a shape in which a family seal portion that waterproofs the peripheries of electric wires which are sandwiched between an inner housing and an outer housing 40, and which are not illustrated, and a seal ring portion that performs waterproofing between the seal ring portion and a mating housing are integrated. The standing board portions of the inner housing penetrate the long openings of the sealing element, and the portion to be caught of the outer housing is caught by catch protrusion portions that are formed in upper portions of the standing board portions and each have a hook shape, whereby the inner housing and the outer housing are assembled in a state in which the family seal portion of the sealing element is sandwiched between the inner housing and the outer housing. The mating housing comes into contact with the third waterproof portion of the sealing element, which acts as the seal ring portion.

摘要： A connector 10 includes a housing 20 and a CPA 30. The CPA 30 includes a basal portion 60, a pair of right and left first elastic arms 71, and a second elastic arm 75. Each of the first elastic arms 71 includes a first arm portion 72, a second arm portion 73, and a catch protrusion 74. The second elastic arm 75 similarly includes a third arm portion 76, a fourth arm portion 77, and a protruding portion 78. In this way, the first elastic arms 71 and the second elastic arm 75 are shaped to extend from the basal portion 60, be folded back, and return to the basal portion 60. Thus achieved are a CPA 30 and a connector 10 that are short in length while ensuring sufficient flexibility of the first elastic arms 71 and the second elastic arm 75 when the catch protrusion 74 and the protruding portion 78 interfere with the housing 20. The connector including the CPA has a reduced length in a sliding direction while keeping elastic arms sufficiently flexible.

摘要： A connector includes a housing having a mating portion matable with a mating connector and a flexible beam with a housing-side catch portion, and a connection position assurance device (CPA) that slides between a first position on the housing and a second position closer to the mating portion than the first position. The CPA in the second position assures that the connector is completely mated with the mating connector. The flexible beam extends in a sliding direction of the CPA and slidably supports the CPA. The housing-side catch portion interferes with the CPA and deflects by interfering with the CPA. The CPA includes a rail that has a device-side catch portion interfering with the housing-side catch portion and that slides while being supported by the flexible beam.

摘要： A connector includes a housing and a connector position assurance device positioned in a temporary caught position on the housing when the connector is not mated with a mating connector.
