    • An apparatus, method, and computer program product are described that provide for an active digital bezel area on a display of a device. Touch input may be received in a bezel area provided on the display, where user interaction with content presented within the bezel area at a location corresponding to the location of the touch input is initially disabled. A force component of the touch input may be detected and compared to a predetermined force threshold. In cases in which the force component of the touch input exceeds the predetermined force threshold, user interaction with the content at that location may be enabled. In this way, the force exerted by the user in applying a touch input in the bezel area may be considered an indication of the user's intent to interact with corresponding content within the bezel, and such interactions may be provided for accordingly.

    • An apparatus, method, and computer program product are described that provide for the creation of user groups through a source user's selection of visual representations of users (e.g., predefined contacts of the source user) and movement of the selected visual representations from a first region (e.g., an area of a display in which the visual representations are displayed) to a location outside the first region that is previously undesignated. The designated area of the display that can accumulate multiple visual representations and create a group of users, which may then be moved or otherwise manipulated as a unit. The source user may be able to easily select those users with whom he wishes to communicate without opening a dedicated application or accessing a particular program configured to create user groups. The source user may be able to visually identify which of the users are co-located or share other common characteristics.

    • Provided herein is a method, apparatus and computer program product for providing a visual representation of relationships between information entities from databases. In particular, the method may include identifying a plurality of entities with a primary relationship with a root entity, and a plurality of entities with a secondary relationship with the root entity, providing for display of the root entity, a first subset of the plurality of entities with a primary relationship with the root entity, and a first subset of the plurality of entities with a secondary relationship with the root entity. Methods may further include providing for display of an indication that the first subset of entities with a primary relationship has a primary relationship with the root entity and providing for display of an indication that the first subset of entities with a secondary relationship has a secondary relationship with the root entity.

    • An apparatus, method, and computer program product are described that provide for the selection of a device from among one or more devices that is best suited to receive and process content. Upon receipt of input from a user designating a target user with whom content is to be shared, at least one device associated with the designated target user is identified. A capability of one or more of the identified devices to experience the content to be shared is then determined. One of the identified devices is then selected to receive the content at least partially based on the capability determined. In this way, the content is shared with one of the designated target user's devices that is most appropriate for receiving the particular content, providing the target user with the best experience of the content and at the same time allowing for a “user-centric” content sharing experience.
