In one method, using noise coefficients are used to pre-distort data that is to be transmitted over one of the number of transmission lines. The noise coefficients are dynamically adjusted as a function of synchronized signals that are synchronized across the number of transmission lines. Other methods and systems are also disclosed.

摘要： Described herein are implementations related to data communication using a frame that includes at least two data packets. In one implementation, a first of the data packets includes at least a payload with repeated payload portions to increase diversity gain. A second of the data packets includes at least a payload with repeated payload portions to increase diversity gain. The repeated payload portions of the second data packet are shuffled or rotated in relation to the repeated data payload portions of the first data packet. In one implementation, the frame is conveyed in a Power Line Communication (PLC) system.

摘要： One embodiment of the present invention relates to a network device. The network device includes a receiver configured to be coupled to a transmission medium supporting a multi-carrier channel over which data is communicated as symbols in a first communication state according to an initial bit-loading configuration. The receiver is further configured to detect noise that can corrupt the symbols on the multi-carrier channel. In addition, the receiver is configured to, in response to the detected noise, allocate at least part of the multi-carrier channel to a transient robust channel that facilitates adaptive communication. Other methods and devices are also disclosed.
