    • Method of permanently sealing cremains of pet in a clear material (nonvolatile, organic substance, consisting of amorphous mixtures of carboxylic acids or similar substance), with a tag or label showing the animal's name, birth and death dates, as well as family (owner) name and possibly a small photo of the deceased animal (herein known as the “capsule”). The capsule can be made in varying sizes, depending on the amount of cremains. The completed capsule will be unbreakable, completely sealed and cannot be reversed once molded and cured. This will serve to ensure the cremains will never be in danger of being scattered or spilled due to mishandling or accident. This capsule is then imbedded in a plush receptacle, which can be in the likeness of the deceased animal or any other form available, such as a dragon, unicorn or teddy bear.

    • Techniques for processing an IP packet at a router that supports SS7 signaling include receiving IP routing data that associates a network link and a destination IP address for a node in a signaling network that includes a plurality of signaling nodes. When an ingress IP data packet is received, it is determined whether conditions are satisfied for locally processing an SS7 payload within the ingress IP data packet. If it is determined that conditions are satisfied for locally processing the SS7 payload, then the SS7 payload is processed locally, i.e., without sending the SS7 payload over a network link to a different node in the signaling network. If it is determined that conditions are not satisfied for locally processing the SS7 payload, then the ingress IP data packet is routed normally. These techniques allow reduced numbers of expensive STP devices and expanded routing options in a signaling network.

    • Surfactant-containing acetoacetoxy-functional polymers (SAAP's) are described. The acetoacetoxy-functional polymer may be a surfactant-containing enamine-functional polymer and more preferably a surfactant-containing, polymeric (polyamino)enamine (PPAE). The PPAE is the reaction product of a surfactant-containing acetoacetoxy-functional polymer (SAAP) and a poly(alkylenimine). The polymers may be prepared as waterborne polymer compositions, such as latexes. The waterborne polymer compositions can be prepared with high solids content while maintaining low viscosity. Waterborne polymer compositions containing the polymers of the inventions are useful in a variety of coating formulations such as, for example, paints, inks, sealants, and adhesives. When used in coating formulations, the polymers of the invention provide adhesion and crosslinking in the final film or coating. The film or coating may be cured at ambient temperatures or may be thermally cured.
