    • Systems and methods for distributing work among a plurality of workers in a distributed environment using a granularity determinator module to determine a desired granularity of a data to be worked-on whereby each one of a plurality of document subcomponents individually maintains a level of security based on a security policy. The data is separated out into a plurality of subcomponents which are transmitted to respective workers. A consolidator module can be used to consolidate subcomponents worked on by the respective workers into one worked-on document or file for validation purposes. The system and methods provide an efficient and cost effective way to distribute confidential work to workers without compromising the confidentiality of the information contained in the document or file being worked on.

    • A method of verifying fulfillment of a prescription may include receiving an image of a personalized medication package associated with a patient, receiving a patient identifier associated with the patient, and using the patient identifier to identify a medication regimen for the patient. The method may include analyzing the image to identify at least one pill, and for each identified pill, determining one or more physical features of the pill, determining a location of the pill with respect to the personalized medication package, determining whether the determined location of the pill is correct based on the determined physical features and the medication regimen, and in response to determining that the determined location of the pill is not accurate, generating an alert.

    • A computer-based system for implementing and monitoring a medication regimen, including a medication package and a computer-based unit. The package includes a base including spaces for receiving a medication, a sheet of material including respective portions sealing the spaces with respect to the base, and a respective electrical circuit associated with each portion. The computer-based unit includes a memory element to store computer readable instructions and a medication regimen, formulated by a medical practitioner or pharmacist, for the medication, a processor; and a wireless transmitter. The computer-based unit is attachable to the medication package or can wirelessly communicate with the medication package. The processor executes the computer readable instructions to: monitor the electrical circuits to detect when portions are ruptured; and wirelessly transmit, using the wireless transmitter, a compliance message for receipt by at least one computer, the compliance message indicating whether a portion has been ruptured.
