摘要： An apparatus and method are provided to output a received call with a volume adjusted to a reference level range in the etiquette call mode. In the method for providing the etiquette call mode of a mobile device, the apparatus determines whether the etiquette call mode is activated in a call mode. When the etiquette call mode is activated, the apparatus establishes a transmission gain to a given gain value and also establishes a reception gain to a specific gain value corresponding to a minimum receiving volume level. Then the apparatus amplifies a received call by means of the established reception gain, adjusts a volume of the amplified received call to a given reference level range, and outputs the adjusted received call through a speaker.

In the method, after outputting a test sound relevant to a selected test frequency and a selected test sound pressure, the apparatus determines whether a user hears the test sound, then the test sound pressure zone is divided into an auditory threshold presence region and an auditory threshold absence region according to the result of determination. Thereafter, the test sound pressure zone is redefined using the auditory threshold presence region and this process of hearing test is repeated using the redefined test sound pressure zone to finally determine an auditory threshold for the selected test frequency.

摘要： Provided is an antenna control apparatus for controlling an antenna mounted on a stratospheric platform of the stratospheric communication system. The apparatus includes a plurality of location signal receivers, each receiver being positioned at each of predefined different points of the stratospheric platform and receiving a location signal for the stratospheric platform, a calculating circuit for calculating an adjustable displacement for the antenna, and an antenna driver for adjusting a direction of the antenna. The calculating circuit calculates a location and attitude of the stratospheric platform based on the location signals, and then computes the adjustable displacement using the location and attitude information. This invention can reduce power consumption in the stratospheric platform and recovery time of directional point of the beam.
