    • A highly durable elastic crawler with a tensile cord having both ends thereof overlapped mutually in a crawler body thus being circumferentially wound around the crawler is provided. An elastic crawler includes; a crawler body including an endless belt-like elastic body; metal cores embedded in the crawler body, each of the metal cores including vanes and arranged at predetermined intervals circumferentially; and tensile cords transversely arranged, wound around the outer circumference side of the vanes, and embedded in the crawler body while vicinity portions of both ends of the tensile cords are overlapped mutually. An inner circumference side end is arranged at an outer circumference side of any one of the vanes. The distance between the vicinity portion of the inner circumference side end and the outer circumference side portion of the tensile cord overlapped there is increased from the vicinity portion toward the inner circumference side end.

    • The present invention relates to a rubber crawler including: a joint formed by joining together opposite ends of a crawler body comprising an elastic member shaped like a belt having the opposite ends; and lugs projected at predetermined space intervals along a longitudinal direction of the belt and arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the crawler body. The joint is disposed on the outer circumferential surface of the crawler body, as located in a ground non-engaging portion and at different positions with respect to the longitudinal direction of the belt, the ground non-engaging portion defining an area excluding the lugs. In this way, stress acting on the joint is distributed or reduced.

    • A crawler belt for use on a crawler motor vehicle has an elongate belt body drivable in a predetermined direction, and a plurality of ridges mounted on a ground contact side of the belt body, each of the ridges having at least one sipe defined in a free end thereof for allowing the ridge to be flexibly deformable in a direction opposite to the predetermined direction. Each of the ridges has a plurality of sipes defined therein and extending longitudinally thereof or substantially perpendicularly to the predetermined direction. The ridges comprise a plurality of chevron-shaped ridges pointing toward the predetermined direction and succesively arranged at predetermined spaced intervals in the predetermined direction. The ridges are divided into a plurality of groups each including a plurality of ridges by grooves extending transversely of the belt body, and divided into a plurality of segments by at least one longitudinal groove extending longitudinally of the belt body.
