摘要： A reflection type screen including: a base portion which is tabular; and a plurality of prism portions which are provided on one surface of the base portion, extending in one direction and lined up in a direction intersecting the one direction, wherein the plurality of prism portions each have: a pair of surfaces, at least one of the pair of surfaces being inclined with respect to the normal direction of the one surface of the base portion and intersecting the other of the pair of surfaces; and a reflecting layer, being formed on the one of the pair of surfaces and reflecting light, and wherein the reflecting layer includes a low friction portion dispersed over within a reflecting portion to reflect light, having lower friction coefficient than that of the reflecting portion.

摘要： A screen with a high flatness where no distortion arises in a central portion of the screen can be obtained. A first thickness of a portion other than a plurality of inclined portions that reflects to the front a obliquely-incident projection light is no more than 2 times a second thickness of the inclined portion. Moreover, a width is about 1550 mm, a height is about 900 mm, and when the reflective screen is suspended so a vertically-downward pulling load is about 3 kg, in a first region that includes the central portion of the reflective screen but does not include an end portion of the reflective screen, no shift arises in an image displayed on the reflective screen between when a reference line passing through a substantially central portion of the reflective screen at an incidence angle of about 15 degrees and when the reference line is projected at an incidence angle of about 60 degrees.

摘要： Since a screen contains a diffusion agent, the diffusion agent changes polarization characteristics of picture light and degrades the stereoscopic image. Provided is a screen comprising a substrate shaped as a flat board; a reflective layer made of metal arranged on one surface of the substrate; and an exposure layer that is arranged on a surface of the reflective layer facing away from the substrate, is optically isotropic and transparent with respect to visible light, and has bumps and depressions formed in an exposed surface thereof. Also provided is a screen manufacturing method comprising providing a reflective layer on a substrate shaped as a flat board; and forming an exposure layer on a surface of the reflective layer facing away from the substrate, the exposure layer being optically isotropic and transparent with respect to visible light and having bumps and depressions formed in an exposed surface thereof.
