    • A cage-type animal trap has an over-center set mechanism for holding open a door for closing the trap access opening. The set mechanism includes a pivotally mounted set lever coupled to the door of the trap by an actuating cable. A bait pedal is movably mounted inside the trap with a trip rod and link assembly secured to the pedal and to the set mechanism so that when an animal enters the trap, the weight of the animal moves the pedal, causing the trip rod and link assembly to actuate the set mechanism. Upon actuation, the set lever pivots past its over-center position to allow movement of the cable which enables the door to move from an opened position to a closed position to trap the animal inside the trap.

The panel includes a mask-frame assembly having a frame with two opposing long sides and two opposing short sides forming a continuous mask support frame. The frame is mounted within the tube by brackets located near the corners of the frame. Each bracket is adjustably secured along the short sides of the frame and includes a flat surface section extending normal to the diagonal axes of the panel. A spring clip assembly is secured to the flat surface section of the bracket for engaging a stud affixed to the panel.

    • An electronic mouse trap is provided having multiple kill and automatic killing chamber clearing capabilities. The trap includes an elevated killing chamber rotatably mounted on a base that houses a collection bin positioned under the chamber and which has an entrance pathway that provides mice with access to the chamber. Upon completion of a killing cycle and the killing of a mouse, the chamber is automatically rotated by a gear motor about a longitudinal axis that is slightly below the floor of the chamber. The chamber rotates approximately 180 degrees so as to be inverted, allowing the dead mouse to fall downwardly into the collection bin. Once the chamber has been inverted and the mouse removed by gravity, the gear motor reverses the rotation direction and returns the chamber to its upright position where it is ready to reinitiate the killing cycle for another mouse.

    • The present invention provides a method of attaching a tension mask to a frame to achieve desired tensions at a plurality of locations across the mask, wherein the frame has two opposite sides between which the mask is to be attached. Specific forces are applied from each of a plurality of separate actuators at positions, along each of the two opposite sides of the frame, that affect the mask tensions respectively at the plurality of locations across the mask. Each of the actuators is individually controlled to apply a specific force to a frame side that is directly related to the desired mask tension required at a particular mask location. While the specific forces are applied by the actuators, the mask is attached to the two opposite sides of the frame. Thereafter, the forces on the sides are released.

    • The present invention provides an improved support blade structure for use on a tension mask frame assembly. The support blade structure is formed of a material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion and includes fastening portions and an insert member connected at a generally central location to the support blade structure. The insert member is formed of a material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion and has a plurality of apertures extending in a row along its length. The aperatures are dimensioned to be larger than the fastening portions passing therethrough to loosely connect the insert member to the support blade structure. This allows the insert member to be connected at the center while it's end are free to slide relative to the support blade structure during thermal cycling.
