摘要： An oil-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen has an ink viscosity at 25° C. is 200,000 mPa·s or more at a shear rate of 0.019 s−1 and 5,000 mPa·s or less at a shear rate of 10,000 s−1 and a storage modulus at an angular frequency of 0.019 rad/sec is 10 Pa or more. The ink composition ensures a thin-width writing line, without bleeding or feathering, and prevents ink-depleted regions at the central part of the writing line so that the writing line is uniform and clear.

摘要： A plastic molded product of olefin (co)polymer composition comprises 0.01-5.0 weight parts high molecular weight polyethylene with an intrinsic viscosity &eegr;E in the range of 15-100 dl/g measured in 135° C. tetralin and preferably 100 weight parts polypropylene. The high molecular weight polyethylene has an average particle size in the range of 1-5000 nm and is finely dispersed as fine granules in the polypropylene, so that high melt strength and high crystallization temperature are attained, enabling various molding methods to be performed with high speed productivity. Using the polymer composition, plastics such as a resin foam, a film, a sheet, a layered plastic article with a coated substrate surface, a hollow plastic article, an injection molded plastic article, a fiber, a nonwoven web or a continuous tube-shaped plastic are provided. The olefin (co)polymer composition is obtained by preparing high molecular weight polyethylene granules using e.g. a titanium transition metal compound catalyst, and adding these, e.g. as a polymerization catalyst of propylene, singly or together with a polyolefin preparing catalyst.

摘要： A two-piece optical fiber connector comprises an internal member and an external member. The internal member includes a block having a hole which receives the end of an optical fiber cord and cantilevers provided along the side walls of the block having internal and external projections when no force is applied. The external member includes an opening through which the optical fiber cord is inserted and an opening or recess which engages with the external projections of the cantilevers when the block of the internal member is fit into the external member axially and slidably. Once the internal member and external member are fitted, the internal projections on the cantilevers securely hold the optical fiber cord in place.

摘要： Disclosed is a process for producing olefin polymers or copolymers which can freely regulates the molecular weight of the polymers or copolymers as well as novel olefin polymers or copolymers excellent in rigidity, heat-resisting property and transparency, moldings and compositions thereof which find a wide variety of applications in versatile industrial parts including containers, films, sheets, filaments or fibers, featured by (1) a process for producing olefin polymers or copolymers by the aid of a catalyst comprised predominantly of the compounds: (A) a transition metal compound of the formula: Q(C5H4−mR1m)(C5H4−nR2n)MXY, (B) an aluminoxane, (C) a fine particulate carrier, and (D) an organoaluminum compound; (2) olefin polymers or copolymers characterized by (a) a specific ratio of isotactic pentad, (b) 2,1- and 1.3-propylene units contents in the polymer chain, (c) a specific Mw, (d) a specific Mw/Mn, and (e) in case of elevating temperature of o-dichlorobenzene continuously or stepwise up to given temperatures to measure the amount of eluated polyolefin at each temperature, the position of a main elution peak and the amount of components existing in the range of ±10° C. of the main elution peak; (3) injection moldings, films, filaments or fibers, and non-woven fabric of the polypropylene obtained; and (4) a composition comprising the polypropylene obtained and an &agr;-nucleating agent or a composition comprising the polypropylene and a radical generator and having been produced by subjecting to the mixture to melt-kneading.

Thereby, the propylene resin composition is provided, suitable as a raw material for shaped article having a well-balanced combination of transparency, stress-whitening resistance; impact resistance at low temperatures, and further heat resistance.
