    • The present disclosure provides a display panel and a display device. The display panel includes a pixel unit including first and second sub-unit regions. Liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the first sub-unit region have a first initial alignment direction, and liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the second sub-unit region have a second initial alignment direction. The pixel unit further includes a third sub-unit region arranged between the first and second sub-unit regions. Liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the third sub-unit region have a third initial alignment direction, which is an alignment direction in a rotation from the first initial alignment direction towards the second initial alignment direction along a first rotation direction. An angle difference between the first and second initial alignment directions is greater than 0° and less than or equal to 90°.

    • A polymer dispersed liquid crystal film comprises: a first substrate (1) and a second substrate (2) arranged opposing to each other; a first transparent conductive film (3) and a second transparent conductive film (4) arranged on opposing surfaces of the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (2), respectively; and a polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer (5) located between the first transparent conductive film (3) and the second transparent conductive film (4), wherein the polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer (5) comprises homogeneously dispersed bi-axis liquid crystal (51) and polymer (52). When no voltage is applied between the first transparent conductive film (3) and the second transparent conductive film (4), the bi-axis liquid crystal (51) exhibits a random arrangement, and the bi-axis liquid crystal (51) has perpendicular refractive index (n1) and the parallel refractive index (n2), wherein the perpendicular refractive index (n1) and the parallel refractive index (n2) are not equal to each other, and neither of them matches the refractive index of the polymer (np). A method of preparing a polymer dispersed liquid crystal film and a display apparatus comprising a polymer dispersed liquid crystal film are also disclosed.

    • The present invention provides a transparent display which comprises a light source; a first liquid crystal layer, for transmitting a first part of the light emitted from the light source and reflecting a second part of the light emitted from the light source; a light-transmittable image display device including a second liquid crystal layer, wherein the first part of the light is emitted to the second liquid crystal layer, when the image display device is in a first state, the first part of the light is transmitted through the second liquid crystal layer, and the image display device displays an image; when the image display device is in a second state, the first part of the light is reflected by the second liquid crystal layer, and the image display device becomes transparent. The transparent display according to the present invention can realize the function of a transparent display without use of a sheet polarizer or a light guide plate. Therefore, in comparison with the transparent display of the prior art, the transparent display according to the present invention has greatly-improved light transmittance.
