摘要： A drum unit includes: a frame; a first photosensitive drum; a second photosensitive drum; a charger; and a storage medium. The frame includes: a first frame plate; a second frame plate spaced apart from the first frame plate in a first direction; a third frame plate connecting one end of the first frame plate to one end of the second frame plate; and a fourth frame plate connecting another end of the first frame plate to another end of the second frame plate. The first photosensitive drum and the second photosensitive drum are rotatably supported by the frame. The second photosensitive drum is spaced apart from the first photosensitive drum and positioned closer to the third frame plate than the first photosensitive drum to the third frame plate in a second direction. The storage medium has an electrical contact surface positioned at an outer surface of the third frame plate.

The switch arm has a cam contact surface, and the second sector gear includes a cam configured to contact the cam contact surface. When the first sector gear rotates in the predetermined direction for a predetermined amount from a state where the third gear engages the first gear and where the first teeth portion and the second teeth portion disengage from the second gear, the first teeth portion engages the second gear, and the second teeth portion disengages from the second gear.

The opening/closing member is configured to generate a moving force when being moved. The second transmission portion is configured to transmit drive force of the motor to the first transmission portion to generate the moving force. The switching member is configured to switch to one of a transmitting state and a cutoff state. The switching member interrupts the transmission of the drive force from the second transmission portion to the first transmission portion in the cutoff state.

A push latch mechanism is arranged on a downstream side with respect to the sheet feed roller in the sheet feed direction. A state of the push latch mechanism is alternately switched between an engaged state and a disengaged state every time when a pressing force is applied to the push latch mechanism. A first spring is configured to exert an elastic force to move the sheet feed tray toward a near side.

摘要： A sheet conveying device is configured to start feeding, before a trailing end of a preceding sheet passes a detector, a next sheet following the preceding sheet, based on a calculated sheet length. 摘要： An image forming system, image forming apparatus and tray for the same are provided. The tray supports sheets and may include a coupling including first and second connectable members, a cam and clutch. The coupling allows the driving force to be transmitted when the second connectable member is in a connected position and block the driving force to be transmitted when the second connectable member is in a disconnected position. The cam is rotatable by the driving force to be in a transmitting or a blocking state. The clutch allows the cam to rotate when activated and prevents the cam from rotating when deactivated. A controller can activate the clutch to transmit or block the driving force to the load and deactivate the clutch when the cam is placed in the transmitting or blocking states.
