摘要： A user identification system is provided. In the user identification system, an in-vehicle apparatus specifies a position of a vehicular portable device with reference to a vehicle and determines whether the vehicular portable device exists in a predetermined identification area. Based on determining that the vehicular portable device exists in the identification area, the in-vehicle apparatus transmits an instruction signal instructing the vehicular portable device to specify a driver terminal. Based on reception signal strength detected during a time period determined by a time point of receipt of the instruction signal, the vehicular portable device determines the driver terminal.

摘要： A first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus are capable of wireless communication with each other. The first communication apparatus has a normal operation mode and a tuning mode that differs from the normal operation mode and allows a variable matching portion to adjust a matching state. When the tuning mode is selected, the first transmission portion transmits an operation mode transition request signal to the second communication apparatus. A first reception portion receives a tuning reference signal transmitted from the second communication apparatus in response to the operation mode transition request signal. A reception signal intensity measurement portion measures a reception signal intensity of the received tuning reference signal. The variable matching portion adjusts a matching state based on the measured reception signal intensity of the tuning reference signal.

摘要： A position determination system determines a position of a mobile terminal relative to a vehicle by a wireless communication. The position determination system includes: a communication device disposed in a vehicle compartment and configured to receive a wireless signal transmitted from the mobile terminal and detect a reception strength of the received wireless signal. The position determination system is configured to: determine whether the mobile terminal is existing in the vehicle compartment; estimate an amount of absorbers that exists in the vehicle compartment and may absorb radio waves having a frequency used for the wireless communication; adjust an inside determination value which is used as a threshold for determining that the mobile terminal is existing in the vehicle compartment; and determine that the mobile terminal is existing in the vehicle compartment in response to the inside device strength being equal to or greater than the inside determination value.

摘要： A reception strength detection unit is connected to reception antennas located in a vehicle compartment and detects a reception strength of a radio wave from a mobile terminal for each of the reception antennas. A reception determination unit is connected to an auxiliary antenna located at a predetermined position that is a blind spot of the reception antenna and determines whether the radio waves has been received by the auxiliary antenna. When the radio wave has not been received by the auxiliary antenna, an existence position calculation unit calculates an existence position of the mobile terminal based on the reception strength detected by the multiple reception antennas. When the radio wave is received by the auxiliary antenna, the existence position determination unit determines the predetermined position at which the auxiliary antenna receiving the radio wave is located as the existence position of the mobile terminal.
