A disclosed example method involves receiving a communication requesting an extensible markup language (XML) document from an XML document management client associated with a principal. In addition, the example method involves generating a subset of the XML document for the principal such that validity of the subset is ensured by including all document parts required according to an XML schema despite the principal having access rights to only certain parts of the XML document but not other parts. The other parts are included in the subset without values.

The application gateway server comprises a message listener, a connector subsystem, and a messaging subsystem. The message listener receives messages from the component applications. The connector subsystem comprises a plurality of connectors, each of the plurality of connectors for communicating with one or more associated backend servers. The messaging subsystem comprises a message broker for processing messages received from the message listener and transmitting them to an associated one of the plurality of connectors and a communication mapping for identifying which of the plurality of connectors is to be used for each message in accordance with an origin of the message.

摘要： Current applications, in particular for resource constrained terminals, may only require access to an updated version of an application, but updates of current applications must typically be downloaded in their entirety. There is provided systems and methods of modifying an application program for provisioning in a runtime environment of a terminal, the application including a plurality of uniquely addressable logical modules having respective executable methods, where the modules are linked by a set of execution pathways. One method comprises obtaining a migration instruction set for coordinating the modification of the application and executing the migration instruction set for modifying a first execution pathway of the execution pathways to create a modified application. The updated version of the application is represented by a stored addressing map for coordinating hosting of the modified application in the runtime environment.
