摘要： Systems and methods for a facemask wearer to view high resolution, high data content, color imagery are provided. A display using organic light emitting diode (OLED) micro-displays provides 800×600 color pixel resolution at 60 Hz. The OLED micro-displays allow for powering the system through a standard Universal Serial Bus (USB) port connected to a compatible sensor system that provides the required power and standard display signal to the OLED display. The display is held away from the user's field of view by a quick release facemask attachment bracket. The bracket can provide for flipping the display up and down, swiveling the display, or rotating the display with one hand. When needed, the display can be flipped down, such that the display is in contact with the facemask faceplate, enabling clear, focused images even in zero visibility water.

摘要： A system for producing a metal foam comprises a bath containing a molten metal, a rotating shaft or impeller extending through the base of the bath into, and submerged in the molten metal, and a gas discharge nozzle provided on the submerged end of the shaft. The opposite end of the shaft is connected to a gas supply line and the shaft is rotated with a motor. A seal is provided at the opening in the base of the bath for preventing leakage of the molten metal there-through.

摘要： An increased precision position sensor comprises a first magnetic field sensing device; a second magnetic field sensing device; and a processor, the processor further comprising a calibrator; a mathematical model to predict the magnetic field at a given position relative to the object; and an estimator algorithm to compare the measured magnetic field within the predicted magnetic field, thereby calculating the most likely position of the position sensor relative to the magnetic object. A position sensor in accordance with the invention is capable of locating the axis of a cylindrical magnetic object to within ±0.5 mm through 70 mm thick aluminium, and is expected to find application, in the aerospace industry, or other industries where high precision during manufacture is required. The invention may be conveniently embodied in a portable, handheld device.
