摘要： A novel byproduct compound having the following chemical formula B: wherein R is hydrogen or CH3; a composition including an admixture of: (A) a product having the following chemical formula A: wherein R is hydrogen or CH3; and (B) the above novel byproduct compound having the chemical formula B; and a composition including a reaction product of: (a) an aromatic epoxy resin; (b) hydrogen; (c) a catalyst; and (d) a solvent; wherein the reaction product produced is a cycloaliphatic epoxy resin admixture of the combination of (i) the above product having the chemical formula A and (ii) the novel byproduct compound having the chemical formula B; wherein the above product having the chemical formula A includes at least a cis-cis isomer, a cis-trans isomer, and a trans-trans isomer; and the novel byproduct compound having the chemical formula B includes at least a cis isomer and a trans isomer.

摘要： A polydiorganosiloxane having both a silicon bonded aliphatically unsaturated group and a silicon bonded poly(meth)acrylate polymer or copolymer, and method for preparation of this polydiorganosiloxane are disclosed. The method preserves the aliphatically unsaturated groups when grafting the poly(meth)acrylate to the polydiorganosiloxane. This polydiorganosiloxane is useful in hydrosilylation reaction curable compositions, such as pressure sensitive adhesive compositions.

摘要： The present invention provides aqueous, epoxy-based sizing compositions for carbon fibers. The size composition incorporates highly functionalized film forming epoxy novolac phenolic resins in combination with highly functionalized sulfonated polyesters having high Tg characteristics, sulfonate equivalent weights in the range from 2000 to 20,000 and number average molecular weights in the range from about 1000 to about 100,000. The present invention also provides corresponding sized carbon fibers and fiber-reinforced matrices.

Coating compositions of the present invention provide low viscosity coating compositions even at 100% solids and enable the use of epoxy coating compositions in remote field applications.
