摘要： A driver circuit for driving a totem-pole circuit including cascade-connected high-side and low-side power devices. The driver circuit includes high-side and low-side drive circuits which respectively drive the high-side and low-side power devices, a pulse generation circuit which generates set and reset signals based on a high-side input logic signal, a level shift circuit which transmits the set and reset signals to the high-side drive circuit, a high-side potential detection circuit which detects a high-side reference potential, a high-side potential determination circuit which outputs an event signal upon detecting that the high-side reference potential exceeds a reference voltage, and an on-pulse stop circuit which validates or invalidates a low-side input logic signal based on the high-side input logic signal and the event signal. When the high-side input logic signal is at a low level and upon receiving the event signal, the on-pulse stop circuit invalidates the low-side input logic signal.

摘要： A totem-pole circuit driver for driving cascade-connected high-side and low-side power devices. The driver includes a high-side drive circuit and a low-side drive circuit that respectively drive the high-side and low-side power devices, a pulse generation circuit which generates a set signal and a reset signal respectively upon detecting a first edge and a second edge of a high-side input logic signal, and generates a control signal from a low-side input logic signal, a high-side potential determination circuit which compares a high-side reference potential detected by a high-side potential detection circuit and a reference voltage, and an event signal generation circuit which outputs an event signal in accordance with the comparison. Upon receiving the event signal, and upon detecting that the high-side input logic signal instructs to turn off the high-side power device, the pulse generation circuit stops outputting the control signal for a period of time.

摘要： A control circuit controlling to drive a switching device includes a first detection circuit that detects whether a power supply voltage received by a drive circuit that drives the switching device drops below a first level, a second detection circuit that receives a current flowing through the switching device and detects whether the current exceeds a first value, and an abnormality detection circuit that causes the drive circuit to turn off the switching device, based on whether a condition that the power supply voltage is lower than the first level and the current flowing through the switching device is larger than the first value is satisfied.

摘要： In a semiconductor device, a high-side potential determination circuit outputs an event signal when a high-side reference potential detected by a high-side potential detection circuit rises. If at that time an input logic signal for controlling a high side is at a low (L) level, a pulse generation circuit regenerates a reset signal for a high-side drive circuit. When the input logic signal for controlling the high side is at the L level and the event signal is inputted, an overcurrent detection determination circuit makes an overcurrent detection signal from an overcurrent detection circuit invalid. When the event signal is not inputted, the overcurrent detection determination circuit makes the overcurrent detection signal valid.
