摘要： An apparatus obtains, from a first device, an identifier of a higher-order service for which occurrence of an abnormality or a possibility of being affected by an abnormality has been detected, where the first device searches for a range of effects of failure within a higher-order service layer that provides a higher-order service using a service provided in an object-service layer within a cloud service providing a layered structure of services. The apparatus determines a service within the object-service layer, which is reachable by tracing relations among services from the detected higher-order service, to be an in-effect-range service for which there is a possibility of being affected by an abnormality, and transmits the identifier of the in-effect-range service to a second device that searches for a range of effects of failure at a lower-order service layer that provides a lower-order service used to provide a service within the object-service layer.

摘要： Time-series data indicating a temporal variation of an index, which indicates a usage state of each of resources that are used by multiple processes, is acquired, and an operation-data matrix including vectors is generated based on the time-series data such that each of the vectors indicates the time-series data at a predetermined time interval and includes as an element the index indicating the usage state of one of the resources at the predetermined time interval. A basis matrix including a predetermined number of basis vectors is generated by performing nonnegative matrix factorization on the operation-data matrix. Component values, which respectively correspond to the resources, indicated by each of the predetermined number of the basis vectors are extracted, and information on the extracted component values is output as usage states of the resources that are used by each of the multiple processes.

摘要： A method performed by an apparatus is provided. The apparatus extracts a virtual machine before starting operation from among virtual machines within a range of influence of a failure upon detection of the failure. With reference to a storage unit storing history information concerning operation of a virtual machine, the apparatus generates first information corresponding to time intervals of operation start time of the extracted virtual machine, second information corresponding to movement required time required to move the extracted virtual machine out of the range of influence of the failure, and third information corresponding to recovery required time required for recovery of the failure detected to have occurred. The apparatus determines whether to move the extracted virtual machine out of the range of influence of the failure, based on the generated first, second, and third information.
