    • A current steering circuit for controlling a branch current flowing through a branch is provided. The branch is coupled to a first main switch. The current steering circuit includes a sensing device, a first auxiliary switch and a control unit. The sensing device is coupled to the branch and arranged for sensing the branch current to generate a sensing result. The first auxiliary switch is coupled in parallel with the first main switch. The control unit is coupled to the sensing device and the first auxiliary switch, wherein while the first main switch is turned on, the control unit generates a first switch control signal to the first auxiliary switch, and adjusts a duty cycle of the first switch control signal according to the sensing result in order to adjust the branch current.

    • A battery system balancing control method for performing balancing control with aid of reference voltage information and battery system are provided. The battery system balancing control method includes: after a specific reference resistor of a plurality of reference resistors is installed into a specific battery module of a set of battery modules connected in series within a power supply device and the reference resistors are electrically connected in series, converting a total voltage of the set of battery modules into the reference voltage information, wherein each battery module of the set of battery modules includes at least one battery cell, and the reference voltage information includes a plurality of sets of reference voltage levels respectively corresponding to the reference resistors; and performing balancing control of the specific battery module according to a set of reference voltage levels corresponding to the specific reference resistor within the sets of reference voltage levels.

    • A method for performing battery balancing control with aid of pluggable mechanism is provided. The method is applied to a power supply device. The method includes the steps of: providing a pluggable external module, wherein the pluggable external module includes a first connection port, and further includes a set of external balancing circuits corresponding to a set of battery cells of a specific battery module within the power supply device, respectively; and on a case of the specific battery module, providing a second connection port corresponding to the first connection port, allowing the pluggable external module to be coupled to the specific battery module with aid of the pluggable mechanism formed with the first connection port and the second connection port, in order to utilize the set of external balancing circuits to perform balancing operations on the set of battery cells.
