摘要： The present invention provides for a display device and a method to manufacture the display device. The display device includes: a transparent layer; a coloring electrode; a separator; a second electrode; an electrolyte permeating throughout the display device; and a back layer positioned on the back side of the display. The transparent layer, which has a top surface and a bottom surface, is positioned at the viewer side of the display. The coloring electrode is positioned on the transparent layer bottom surface and includes: a connected conductor system formed from one or more heterogeneous conductive layers and a coloring layer, with the proviso that the heterogeneous conductive layers are not positioned between the transparent layer bottom surface and the coloring layer. The conductor heterogeneity includes variations in one or more of: conductor material composition; conductor layer dimension; conductor layer pattern; conductor layer grid design, and combinations thereof. The separator layer is positioned between the coloring electrode and the second electrode.

摘要： The present invention provides for a display device and a method to manufacture the display device. The display includes a color changing cell located behind the front plane of the device and a first and second electrically conducting attachment layer. The color changing cell includes an active color layer having at least one active color area. The active color layer is associated with a first electrically conducting layer which overlaps at least one active color area. The color changing cell also includes a counter layer associated with a second electrically conducting layer. A first electrically conducting attachment layer extends from the active color area and overlaps the first electrically conducting layer. A second electrically conducting attachment layer extends from the counter layer and overlaps the second electrically conducting layer. The display may be coupled to an electronic circuit for use in a variety of applications. The display may also be used to form a device having a plurality of displays.

摘要： A method and apparatus for securing wireless communications are disclosed. A watermark message is encoded to watermark message symbols. A cover message is encoded to cover message symbols. The watermark message symbols are then overlaid onto the cover message symbols to generate a watermark-embedded cover message in a physical layer. The watermark message symbols have a substantially lower amplitude than the cover message symbols. Thus, the watermark message introduces small perturbation around the constellation points of the cover message symbols. The watermark message symbol may span or spread over a plurality of cover message symbols and may be encrypted with a secret key. The watermark message is used for improving receiver performance by transmitting additional information or for security enhancement purposes. The watermarking function may be selectively turned on and off.

摘要： The present invention relates to secret key generation and authentication methods that are based on joint randomness not shared by others (JRNSO), in which unique channel response between two communication terminals generates a secret key. Multiple network access points use a unique physical location of a receiving station to increase user data security. High data rate communication data is encrypted by generating a random key and a pseudo-random bit stream. A configurable interleaving is achieved by introduction of JRNSO bits to an encoder used for error-correction codes. Databases of user data are also protected by JRNSO-based key mechanisms. Additional random qualities are induced on the joint channel using MIMO eigen-beamforming, antenna array deflection, polarization selection, pattern deformation, and path selection by beamforming or time correlation. Gesturing induces randomness according to uniquely random patterns of a human user's arm movements inflected to the user device.

A content creation request message is sent from the wireless device to an information storage entity (ISE). The ISE determines whether any permissions are required to create the content object. 摘要： The present invention is a method and apparatus for the detection of portable electronic device functionality. In a preferred embodiment, the present invention includes a chemically coated antenna to serve as a trigger for device functionality detection. The chemically coated antenna may be passively or actively detected. In active detection, a detection apparatus releases a chemical which reacts or otherwise respods with the chemical trigger in a detectable manner. The detection apparatus detects the reaction, which is specific to the functionality of the portable electronic device. In passive detection, a detection device simply detects the chemical trigger, which is specific to the portable electronic device functionality. Other trigger embodiments utilizing optics, radio frequency (RF) signals, sound waves, and magnetic identification are also disclosed.
