摘要： A container for a sealed secondary cell containing an electrode plate group is provided comprising a wall forming a base (2) in electrically conducting material, the base comprising a peripheral portion (2a), a closure member portion (2b) and a weakened portion (2c) joining the peripheral portion (2a) to the closure member portion and designed to rupture in the presence of an excess pressure inside the container. An electrically insulating ring member (4) is mounted on the peripheral portion to support the electrode plate group, and the container includes an electrically conducting flexible connection part (3), electrically connected to the closure member portion (2b) and to the electrode plate group, in which, in the presence of an excess pressure leading to rupturing of the weakened portion, the connection part guides the closure member portion to a position after rupture which is substantially parallel to its position prior to rupture.

Manufacture of a sealed storage battery is simplified by obviating a manual operation of inserting and bending an elongated connection tab inside the container.

摘要： In this device for controlling the temperature of a battery of cylindrically-shaped electrochemical cells placed side by side, heat is conveyed by the flow of a heat-conveying fluid, which flow takes place inside a double wall whose section is in the form of circular arcs interconnected at their ends so that the junction points between the arcs are substantially in alignment. Relief is disposed in a baffle configuration inside the double wall to constrain the fluid to flow parallel to said section, alternately in one direction and then in the opposite direction. The wall is disposed against the battery in such a manner that each of the circular arcs is disposed coaxially against one of the cells.

摘要： A cell comprises a container and two current output terminals made of copper situated on a single wall of the container. Each of the current output terminals presents a shoulder. A first terminal is secured to the wall by laser welding, and a second terminal is secured through the wall by crimping with axial displacement of material. The invention facilitates operations of installing and maintaining cells connected together within a module by copper bars. It avoids damaging connections by repeated screwing and unscrewing of nuts screwed onto the terminals when using a screw-and-nut connection system for connecting to the bars.
