A point or two points between a Wide point and a Tele point are chosen, histogram information is stored, and a distance to a subject is estimated based on the stored histogram information. A locus curve is selected based on the estimated distance to the subject, and zoom-tracking is performed along the locus curve after a zoom lens reaches a specific point.

摘要： An auto-focusing method includes dividing an image into a plurality of blocks, performing discrete cosine transform (DCT) on image data of the plurality of blocks to output a plurality of DCT blocks each comprising DCT coefficients, generating a DCT mask for selecting DCT coefficients corresponding to a selected frequency range in a DCT block among the plurality of DCT blocks, and calculating a focus value of the image by applying the generated DCT mask to the DCT block.

摘要： An image capturing device including: a lens; a lens driver configured to change a focus position by moving the lens; an image sensor configured to acquire an image signal from light having passed through the lens; a calculator configured to output a focus value determined by passing the image signal from the image sensor through a frequency filter; and a focus controller configured to control the lens driver to move the lens, based on focus values corresponding to focus positions of the lens. The focus controller may receive one or more focus values from the calculator when the lens is positioned at one or more focus positions among the focus positions, and estimate a focus value of another focus position among the focus positions based on the one or more focus positions and the one or more focus values.
