摘要： A power over Ethernet (PoE) power supplying method where power sourcing equipment (PSE) and a powered device exchange link layer discovery protocol data units (LLDPDUs). Each of the LLDPDUs includes two power values. Each of the power values indicates requested or allocated power for one of two sets of cable pairs of the Ethernet twisted pair connecting the PSE and the powered device. Accordingly, the supplied powers to the powered device at sets of cable pairs are independent from each other.

摘要： In a powered device (PD), four MOSFETs are used in a rectifier circuit. The four MOSFETs are disposed based on a premise that an electric potential of a contact pair 1-2 is lower than that of a contact pair 3-6 and an electric potential of a contact pair 7-8 is lower than that of a contact pair 4-5, so that a PoE current of each contact group passes through only two of the MOSFETs but does not pass through a diode.

摘要： A power over Ethernet method where power sourcing equipment (PSE) detects and determines that a first set of cable pairs and a second set of cable pairs of an Ethernet twisted pair are connected to a valid powered device (PD), the PSE receives a link layer discovery protocol data unit (LLDPDU) from the PD, where the LLDPDU includes a load quantity type-length-value (TLV) used to notify a quantity of PD loads included in the PD, and when the PD receives power from both the first set of cable pairs and the second set of cable pairs, and the PD includes two PD interfaces, and the PD includes two PD loads, the PSE supplies power to the PD at a first power using the first set of cable pairs, and supplies power to the PD at a second power using the second set of cable pairs.

摘要： A powered device (PD) used for power over Ethernet (PoE), where the PD includes an Ethernet port and a rectifier circuit.
