The method for performing a handover of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes measuring a first reception power from a first transmission point and a second reception power from a second transmission point; and determining transmission of a measurement report for the handover to the second transmission point. The transmission of the measurement report is determined using the first reception power, the second reception power, an offset value, and a value related to uplink transmission power of the user equipment (UE).
