A context is attached to the thread that non-disruptively modifies the thread into a hybrid thread that is additionally suitable for execution in the second application server environment. The hybrid thread is returned to the first application server environment.

摘要： Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of rebalancing persistent client connections to a cluster of servers. The method comprises identifying an increase in a total client connection capacity of the cluster of servers with a network connection balancing component; and for each server in a selection of servers in the cluster of servers calculating a current client connection capacity utilization of the server from the number of persistent connections to the server and the current capacity of the server; comparing the current client connection capacity utilization with the target client connection capacity utilization; and terminating a selection of its persistent client connections by a server based on its current client connection capacity utilization exceeding the target client connection capacity utilization. Also disclosed are a computer program product and a computer system for utilizing the computer-implemented method.

摘要： A method, computer program product, and system for resolving a potential in-doubt condition of a distributed transaction, is provided. A processor receives a request to commit a transaction for a distributed transaction protocol that includes an applied process, the transaction includes a transfer of a commit decision from a coordinating node to a participating node. The processor checks the service status of the connection to the participating node, and finding the service status of the connection out of service or unavailable, the processor instructs the coordinating node to back-out (rollback) the transaction. Additionally, locality meta-data is used as an indication of reliability of the connection to the participating node, and in response to determining the participating node locality to be a remote network connection, the processor instructs the coordinating node to abort the applied process and send a standard distributed transaction protocol message over unreliable connections.
