摘要： A lift system for protecting the privacy of passengers. The lift system having a lift car that can be moved between floors of a building. The lift car having a video camera arranged in the lift car. The video camera being a part of a video system that also includes a video monitor for displaying information relating to the interior of the lift car. A video control device is communicatively connected to and controls the video system in a selective manner according to one of several operating modes. The several operating modes include a first operating mode in which the video system is deactivated or activation is blocked, so that the video system remains in an inactive state, if a passenger asks for the video system to be deactivated. When in the first operating mode the video system remains in the inactive state for as long as the passenger is in the lift car.

摘要： An entrance control system for a car park, in which entry is regulated by a barrier comprises an image processing device for determining a character string on a vehicle number plate and a reader for reading a credential. The credential is assigned to a user of the vehicle and has a feature identifying the user. A control unit of the entrance control system is coupled for communication purposes to the image processing device and the reader coupled. The control unit determines whether the feature identifying the user is present in a user database, and associates the determined character string with the feature identifying the user when the feature identifying the user is present in the user database, in order thus to register the number plate of the vehicle as belonging to the user.

Within a given amount of time after arriving at the lobby (100, 101), the identified passenger (154) is allowed to place an elevator call for an elevator traveling to the other zone (170, 172). Even if the call is for a destination floor not usually served from the particular ground floor lobby (100, 101), the passenger (154) is allowed to travel to the destination floor as requested.

摘要： During an evacuation situation in a building that is equipped with an elevator system and in which a plurality of fixed point markers are arranged at defined sites, an escape route is transmitted to a person by means of a mobile device. The fixed point markers store data that can be received by the mobile device. An instantaneous position of the mobile device can be determined when the mobile device uses data received from a fixed point marker to access a database in which the data is linked to a site of the fixed point marker. The ascertainment of the escape route to a destination is based on the instantaneous position of the mobile device. The person is registered on reaching the destination when the mobile device is detected at the destination.

摘要： An access control system detects movement at a door to which a user has been granted access. A travel time is determined that describes how long the user is expected to need to travel between that door and another door in the area. After the travel time has elapsed, the other door is unlocked. Thus, the user can travel to and open the other door without having to present a credential for the other door.
